it’s a few days until pride month 2022…
Scratch the 2 years of single life, it is now 3 🥲
I deleted edating for like a large chunk of COVID… downloaded a few days ago… and still nothing
pride month has ended.
I think it’s extremely homophobic (x2) that I haven’t had one in the past 2 years running.
Y’ALL I EVEN TRIED e-dating to see if it would make a difference…
maybe. -maybe… i’m meant to be single in this life 🥲

I want a gf who watches me as I excitedly run outside in a t-shirt and shorts when it rains and I start twirling and splashing the puddles, turning my face to the sky to let the droplets fall onto my face. She'd watch and chuckle, eventually joining me, running up to me and taking me into her arms as we start to dance together, kissing each other softly as the rain soaks our hair. 💗💓💕💞💖

put a finger down if you yearn for a gf everyday and annoy your friends with the “i want a gf” every other day and in reality when you do have the opportunity to flirt you eventually shy off in front of girls in public bc you realize you actually have no courage to ever ask out a girl because if you do you would look ridiculous and when and if it actually comes down to a relationship you wouldn’t be sure if you’d ever stay loyal bc you might have possible *commitment issues* bc like there are so many other pretty girls out there and you don’t have enough self-esteem to believe that this one person really fell in love with your soul so you panic for no reason and then snap yourself back into reality to find out that you’re overthinking things and should really just try it but you also don’t want to break a girl’s heart if you do cheat and ...... **slowly lowers both hands 🙂**

Black Power and Gay Pride aren’t mutually exclusive. the first pride was a riot led by trans black women.
feel free to use!

This blog supports the Black Lives Matter movement and stands with POC, both in the US and across the globe, in demanding an end to racially motivated police brutality, and the dismantling of the systems that protect perpetrators from justice.
The first pride was a riot, started by queer and transgender people of colour. To condemn rioting against police as a form of protest would be to disregard the efforts of those who began the LGBTQ+ rights movement. We were not given our rights. They were fought for. They were taken by force from oppressors.
POC will not be given their rights if they ask nicely. They cannot wait quietly until the police deign to stop killing them. The police will not stop racially profiling, harassing, terrorising, abusing, and murdering until they are made to stop.

pride month starts tomorrow, but don’t let that distract from continuing to protest and donate in support of black lives matter. here are some black lgbt funds to donate to if you are able:
center for black equity
homeless black trans woman fund
miss major’s monthly fundraising circle
pay black trans women
marsha p johnson institute
google doc full of organizations and funds
also, i know many pride events have been cancelled due to covid-19, but if you are going in public to protest or to another event, please be careful and wear a mask. covid is still going on through all this

While people are inclined to whip out their phones and film when they see something alarming happening, those videos are not always recorded in a way that can be used as evidence in a legal proceeding or to support advocacy tactics.
At the human rights organization WITNESS, where I work as the senior U.S. program coordinator, we’ve learned that video has a greater chance of making an impact when it’s filmed ethically and strategically, and released in coordination with advocacy and legal efforts. Using the camera in your pocket can be a valuable way to ensure the world bears witness to abusive policing and systemic racism, help hold authorities accountable, and advocate for the real safety of our communities.

Reminder that Stonewall wasn’t about marriage equality. Stonewall was about police brutality. It was about systemic abuse and subordination. Stonewall was spearheaded by black trans women. As we celebrate Pride 2020, within the context of the Black Lives Matter riots, it’s imperative that we remember that.
Riots in protest of police brutality are the reason that we have more rights today. Do not forget your roots.
You can’t celebrate Pride while simultaneously condemning the Black Lives Matter riots and protests that are happening right now. Know your history.
