Hello everyone! 💖 Can some of the fellow gifmakers maybe help me out? 🥺 ever since kpopexciting deactivated, I have a hard time finding ts files of Stray kids’ performances. There are some data accs on twitter, who upload nct performances in ts, but I really couldn’t find an acc for Stray Kids, and it SUCKS bc I wanna keep giffing them so badly 😢 Can anybody PLEASE help me with some sources??

Hello dear!!💕 I’m sorry for my late reply, but you find a short tutorial for it under the cut, I hope it helps!

So, alright - let’s start with the “finished project” and what I wanted to achieve:

I wanted the background to be “homogenous” to the color of the rest of my preview - and for that I chose a background that can be easily colored, which means a white one:

For that the Weekly Idol clips are the best ones ofc. So, alright, you chose your video and scene! Afterwards you simply throw it into Photoshop and start coloring + editing out the captions

For that I simply put another layer on top of the base one and started to paint over the bg in the same color (make sure none of it goes into the boys movement though!)

And now you can start coloring it by using “selective color > whites > absolute” and add the color you want. For this examply I now chose to add a bit of cyan. Afterwards I’d advise you to further alter it by adding some exposure and vibrance layers right under it - so that for example Chan’s ALSO white sweater doesn’t completely fade into the back lmao

and tadaaa - you’re done (notice that I chose to simply modify a screenshot/jpeg file for this short tutorial hehe, but that’s how your finished gif gonna move then!
