i'm trying to be really... gracious... toward people who are just now starting the show because of bi!Buck (and if you know me, you know i'm absolutely thrilled about that beyond articulation) because this is a new thing for ALL of us. but it feels so fucking hurtful that 911 is only considered "gay" now when there have been canonically queer, BLACK people on the show since the very beginning. that shit hurts. is queerness only valid when it's a pretty white boy kissing another pretty white boy? guess so. and, like, i know fandom (as in, every fandom) is inherently racist and i know this fandom (911) we've had our own problems with racism as well. but seeing the world en masse get hyped for 9-1-1 because buck kissed a boy as if hen, karen, michael, and david are somehow afterthoughts is really hitting me harder than i thought as a queer black person. but. you know. anyways.

And I genuinely mean that. Even if the post only has like 10 notes at best. How much free time do you have to check the blogs of all 10 of those notes, and then go OUT OF YOUR WAY to message anyone who doesn’t fit your strict guidelines for human interaction. And I know some of y’all don’t just check but you DIG, because some of the stuff I get DMed about is not advertised on my blog as soon as you look at it.

How do you all survive outside of the internet when every persons political opinions and stances on fictional content aren’t displayed to you right off the bat.
