Idk if you're familiar with the movie "Corpse Bride". I was rewatching the other day and when the villain said "Can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?" I immediately thought of Kikyo and InuKik.

What can I say about this nonsense? Nowadays, I have seen 'pedo' characters with different years, e.g. a male hero is in love with a heroine who is a year younger than him and they are called 'pedo'. People use this word downplaying the true meaning of the word. This is just terrifying, and I don't just mean this fandom

The difference between Inuyasha and Kikyou wasn't that big. Kikyou didn't manipulate him with the gem, what BS is that. He was the one who wanted the jewel, and asking him to become human in the hope that they would both be free is not manipulative. Once again, Kikyou just ASKED. Inuyasha made the decision himself. She didn't force him, she waited for his decision. Kikyou cannot be responsible for Inuyasha's decision-making. They are totally pathetic.

The fact that their 'beauty' Kagome is a literal manipulator, so they shouldn't force it on Kikyou because it doesn't work, and the real pedo is Sesshomaru from Yashahime - this is the real pedophilia presented.

Kikyou really loves Inuyasha. She didn't have to manipulate him to make him fall in love with her like a certain 'beauty' from modern times, capricious teen girl

Yes, isn't it obvious? She gave him hope instead of telling him she had a love interest by getting his hopes up. If not, the boy could have moved on sooner than at the end of the series and looked for someone better than her. She used hojo like she used kouga.kouga was used to make inuyasha jealous and so she pissed him off later. This is so pathetic. the boy was a consolation to her wounded ego. and kouga allowed himself to be used by her for jealousy, knowing that she loved someone else. He's fucked up too. That's why I think they fit together. I just feel sorry for Hojo.

I love your blog. I love Kikyo so much. But you wanna know something unfair? Years ago I stopped liking Kagome, I used to post fanart of Inuyasha and my Oc and kikyo too on DeviantArt. I would get little to no likes or I get inukag fans attacking me. I find that so unfair. I seen ton of fanarts of OC x Inuyasha . Either they get good amount of likes or little to no likes. But the fandom doesnt seem to have a problem with whenever someone puts Kagome with any other characters whether they're in the series or outside the series and they get lots of support. But when it comes to Inuyasha being paired with someone else thats not Kagome thats when the fandom attacks. I mentioned that before when I noticed that pattern. Lets just say....it didnt go well as I hoped 😅. No one has a problem when Kagome is paired with anybody but when it comes to Inuyasha being paired with someone thats not Kagome thats when everybody wants to lose their minds. Its seriously unfair! There should be no reason to attack people from wanting to use OCs. I find it fun and very interesting to see and I love it. The Inuyasha fandom is truly toxic which is truly sad...

I don't know who this Kurama is, but I seriously feel sorry for him. innuyasha is supposed to belong only to Kagome, she is supposed to worship and love only her, and she can have a harem that worships her. someone said kikyo is "mean" and kagome is nice and ppl like kikyo cause its the contrarian idea that "mean" characters are cool/interesting and nice characters are boring. the problem is kagome isn't really all that nice? she's portrayed as if she is, but she's a toxically jealous hothead a lot of times as well.

Kikyo is not mean. She has a personality and is complicated, and higurashi is a bad person, she covers her toxicity and meanness, the anger and hatred she holds with small actions, which makes others see her as kindness. Kagome had found a darkness in her heart, only that darkness was still there. she is not a good person! She only pretends to be kind, she has shown so many times through her words and actions that she is really a bad person.

did something more happen in the yahashime manga hating on our girl again? i swear shes dead and inukag are together. why are inukags (including the writer of the yashahime manga who admitted shes a fan of kagome) still pressed.

A friend sent me this panel from that shitty manga. I really don't have the words or the strength to describe what a terrible motherfucker this is. And honestly, if Rumiko really considered Kikyou her favorite, I think she should finally defend her, but she doesn't give a damn.

I'll say it vulgarly. Fuck this manga and fuck Kikyo haters and fuck this fandom! This woman cannot be calm. She is humiliated even when she is not there. She is dead and there is no respect whatsoever.

I want to say what I think about the "jealousy" argument.

Jealousy is not a reason to justify kagome's toxic behavior. When she was 15, she might have been jealous of Inuyasha, but she had no right to demand any explanation from him about what he was doing with Kikyou, because she was his teammate, just because she was in love with him, she didn't have the right to act like Inuyasha was cheating on her.He had no obligation, but he explained himself anyway by telling the truth, and it always ended with Kagome getting angry and not believing him.

In the Relationship with Inuyasha, she still hasn't worked through this jealousy by reusing the beads. Instead of talking, she felt hurt again about the dead woman. She needs her feelings to be released. But it never happens, she hides her hurt and uses beads when she is jealous.

They should talk about this situation so that Kagome can finally calm down and accept that Inuyasha loves Kikyou more than her, but that will never happen because she lives in jealousy, it's her feelings and she thinks she's right, as always.

If she really trusted Inuyasha, she would let Inuyasha tell her about Kikyou, but she doesn't do it because she is afraid and rightly so because Kagome is jealous again and uses the 'sit boy' Kagome doesn't trust him and he doesn't trust her. They have trust issues and Kagome has jealousy issues.

Her jealousy is toxic, so the "she had a right to be jealous" argument is pointless when she should be working on it and accepting what she knows, but it never happens.

Jealousy is not always an excuse for everything. kagome is exaggerating her jealousy and knows no limits. Jealousy also doesn't give kagome the right to behave aggressively towards Inuyasha.

Kikyou is a very complex character and difficult to understand. The way Sunrise portrayed her is just plain wrong. They hate her and Kikyou still struggles with hatred, even in the non-canon Yashahime manga. Her character was reduced to just an "ex" and in fact Kikyou was more than just an "ex". She's been dealing with the hate ever since. Anime Kikyou helps her hate. It's easy to hate a character who is so cold, doesn't care and seems to care about something else, just cold because that's how she was supposed to be. Principal Inuyasha didn't hate her, he said he "didn't understand her and should stay dead" He made her cold and emotionless, but that's how she was supposed to be. My criticism of Kikyou in the anime doesn't mean I don't love her. I love her with all my heart, but I don't like what was done to her and how she was presented. She has been changed the most and very drastically. Inuyasha always looks like he doesn't love her but always looks at her compassionately, and she acts like Inuyasha's love doesn't matter anymore. Her scenes with Inuyasha were erased and changed, her personality was changed. I don't care if anyone likes Kikyou in the manga and anime. I express what I feel. Just like Kagome fans keep complaining that 'Kagome was changed' but the changes Kagome had are nothing like what happened to Kikyou. Kikyou, at the end of the episode, was presented as a rival who takes the main character and hurts poor Kagome. This sunrise subconsciously made Kagome feel like the wronged one and she should be pitied, while Kikyou should be hated. Sunrise made it clear that Inuyasha and Kikyou's love is in the past and they no longer love each other, especially Kikyou since she doesn't love him. They make it clear that Kagome is the only right partner for him and InuKik is a thing of the past. Kikyou's true personality has been erased, InuKik's love has been erased. It's Kikyou who needs justice. It was the Kikyou anime that made me love Kikyou so much, the Kikyou manga only strengthened my feelings and my love for InuKik.

Sunrise always favored Kagome . In the manga they didn't kiss, but in the anime Inukag got a kiss. I believe this is the most solid evidence that Sunrise favors Kagome and this ship. Kagome's favoritism and hatred towards Kikyou is very evident in this series and it can really be appreciated by reading the original source - manga.

yashahime continues to hate her. this is just sad. Kikyou didn't deserve this fate.
