Finally had an idea for a story ark for little nightmares.

So what if, when Mono was alone in the school looking for Six, he stumbled upon a little green friend who managed to escape the teacher. This little guy moved around the school through the vents, hiding from the students and long neck.

And upon stumbling with someone who wouldn’t hurt him and seemed to be just as alone as he was, he wasn’t afraid, and decided to keep him company.

Old LN II sketchdump

Did this bunch of sketches when the LN II demo was first released.

The second I saw it I fell in love with Mono; loved his aesthetic and he just seemed like a cutie (was not wrong in the slightest).

Me: ...Don't take it personally but I feel like I'm being threatened by a cupcake.

My stomach rumbles louder everytime…

It hurts so much… but I can’t go…

I didn’t have a choice back then but to let you go… to protect you from myself…

But now I do, and I won’t leave you.

Even if I starve waiting, I will not let you get out and be as alone as I’ve always been…

So I don’t care how much it takes you… I’ll wait for you… So I can ask for your forgiveness, my only friend…

I know many hate Six right now. Honestly, to some extent I do to cause Mono is baby and he did not deserve that finale. But I go for the theory that Six let him go because she did not want to eat him when crossing the barrier. 

I think that’s what shadow Six wanted. I mean, she did appear to him, almost guiding him. Also, if she did not care from the beginning and was just using him, I think monster Six wouldn’t have even allowed him to get near. I think that scene is key to know she truly cared.

So in this little AU, Six unintentionally breaks the loop. Even though her hunger hurts, she stays in front of the TV, waiting for Mono. She was aware of who he was, and that’s why she has the feeling he’s alive. So she stays, waiting for either Mono or even the Thin man, but she just can’t find the strength to leave him.

(Pd. I’m so impressed on how this piece turned out. I love it with all my heart. It’s the first time I’ve tried this style and I think I want to stick with it. I just wanted to say it cause I honestly am so proud :) <3
