It makes me so incredibly happy and thankful when you guys reblog and comment on my oc art ;O; I'm trying to make it into something. I'm writing it as a book for now so I can later turn it into a comic. I have never been this passionate about anything before and it honestly feels so good to finally work on something that is just mine. I know it's not very interesting yet, but I hope it can become interesting when I develop it more. I just wanted to say that I'm so incredibly grateful! Thank you!

My art stamina is a bit drained lately so I might not finish it. So I thought I'd share the lineart. Azriel in the books (I think) And Azriel how I saw him. I struggled to separate Az from Rhysand so I gave him really long black hair. I thought it fit him nicely heeh. And in a fey world, there honestly should be more men with long hair!

Damien Fourth spawn Role: Watch and guard dog. Bloodpowers: Blink Werewolf powers: Heightened senses, Shifting, feral state Short history: After the failure of Remus, The Mistress wasted no time searching for a new spawn. A mere 10 years later, she found a poor yet exceedingly handsome young man in the slums of the city. Actually, he found her and willingly asked to be turned. The young man was turned and when he crawled out of the ground, he thoroughly indulged in his new life. Never had he seen such finery, status, and wealth as The Mistress could give him. She was his golden boy for many years until he grew more and more demanding and spoiled. Then one day, he overstepped her as he tried to assert himself as the ruler of the court. The Mistress merely laughed. How dared he assume he could be above her. So she punished him for the first time. Later he tried to run, but she easily urged him in place. As she pondered what to do with her unruly spawn, she had also noticed a recent influx of enemies daring to enter the borders of her land so she decided on a fitting punishment as well as carry out a wicked experiment. She didn't care if he died, but if he lived. Now that would be most advantageous. She had her other spawns kidnap a shifter, and when the time came she placed Damien and the shifter in the same cell and waited for the full moon to rise. There he was forced to endure and survive the attack of a feral werewolf. Being one of the few things able to leave a permanent mark on a vampire's skin, the werewolf clawed him so deep and thoroughly on his shoulder that the curse took hold and left him with a large gnarly scar from his chest to his back. Now the once proud and boasting young man has turned in on himself. A scared, ashamed, and bitter man is left in his place. Forced to endure the werewolf feral state once a month and to turn into the beast whenever the mistress urges him to. Every night Damien now patrols the forest around the castle. He finds Mara thoroughly annoying in the beginning. Yet somehow he wants to keep the curse a secret from her. As her fresh eyes look at him as a person instead of just a beast. Personality: Before the curse: Prideful, greedy, Unashamed, flaunting his wealth. After the curse: Shut in, alert, like a wounded dog. Fearful and watchful. Deep down is a humbled man. He might have been a prick before the curse, but he was never fully evil. He wishes to leave the court and he struggle to create a connection to the other vampires. Later he will grow closer to Cain.

Mara Fifth spawn Role: Unknown to her Bloodpowers: Unknown Short history: Mara wakes up buried and has to claw her way out of the dirt. Waiting for her stands a beautiful white-haired woman who tells her she is now reborn and that she now shall be known as Mara. Confusion quickly turns to horror as the woman urges her to follow. Now unable to control her own body, Mara is forced to run after the woman's carriage until they reach a dark castle. There Mara passes out from exhaustion on the gravel and days later she wakes up chained to a dungeon wall. She spends weeks in the cell, as her body goes through the last stages of the vampire transformation. One day two servants open her cell and unchain her from the wall. She makes her escape and dashes out, following the long corridor only to see an open door at the end. Light shines through the crack and she pushes it open to freedom. As she takes a few steps into the sunlight she realizes she has made a great mistake and falls to the ground as her skin bursts into flame. She is hauled back into the shadows by the servants again and she is lifted up and carried back to her prison cell and fed blood. Badly burned she spends days recovering slowly until the woman again visits her. Still badly burned in her face, Mara can barely see her. She calls herself the Mistress, and the same urging feeling washes over Mara as the Mistress tells her to stand. On burned feet, Mara stands up and promises to never escape again. The mistress leaves, leaving Mara sobbing on the cold stone floor. When someone suddenly lifts her up again and feeds her more blood without saying a word. Her healing speeds up and a week later, she is yet again unchained by the same servants but this time, she willingly follows them up into the castle. Personality: Mara, still more human than a vampire is kind, hopeful, and adaptable. She has a strong sense of empathy, however, as she spends more time as a vampire, her strong sense of right from wrong starts to dwindle and she is caught in a battle to retain what she sees as her last sense of humanity. She battles the feeling of finally being on top of the social hierarchy and the powers she suddenly now holds over others. She both enjoys and fears her new body and strength.
