Deadlift Bar testing is in progress. Will be making the rounds to various local gyms for opinions soon on some samples!!!!! (Too many strong Powerlifters in the area and going to be hitting you all up.) This video shows how much bend has occured after a heavy lift using a forklift on a DL bar being studied. As the bar is rotated, it presses against the needle which will cause the gauge to move. A very straight bar will not press against the needle much and will show little gauge movement.
