I have been awol. A lot of stuff happened this week.
Might just finalize an editor, major overhaul of the book and well an emotional ride at home. It's been crazy suffice to say. Editing is a writer's demise!
I'm currently reading Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab hopefully I'll finish it soon!!!
Here's a stunning picture and equally beautiful words. I love poetry and when I won this book in giveaway it's been magic. Words have a way to mold people, resonate with them.
This lovely collection of poems is by @ashish.bagrecha
I finally sorted out my pictures and decides to post a short review of A court of Mist and Fury by S. J. Maas

Review 💕
Rating : 8/10
I really liked the the second installment in the series of A court of thorns and roses.
It had its pros and cons, I have to say but in comparison to the first book it was better in my eyes. I liked the journey Feyre went through. Being dead, destroying herself and battling that emptiness, the hole in her heart. That was one of the major points I liked. Feyre accepted herself as she was through the journey and healed with time, trust and friends.
I do feel if Rhys would have told Feyre about mating bond in a different manner it would have been a better. Although I felt the powers feyre possess is cliche, but it worked well in her case and how each of the power came out one by one.
What I really hated was the end where both Nesta and Elaine were transformed into Fae, especially since all the planning that our heroes did fell apart way too easily. It was and too easy, too fast paced in my opinion, especially since the book was being built up to a fight and we all were left with a cliffhanger. I get that is necessary evil for continuing to the next book (where we did get the action) but it really put a damper for me in Book 2.
There are more points I want to discuss but I'll keep it short! Might make that video soon ahahah!
It's the weekend again. My day hasn't been the best but I was productive at least. I need to get my pictures of the photoshoot i did in order soon. There is always tomorrow because right now I am curled up with my book!
Book in the picture is Afterlife by Sean O' Brien.
This edition is preloved book I found and I am just starting with it. Hopefully reviews will be out soon or the videos I promised. Been busy with life!

In the picture is my current reread, Moon Cursed by @lorihandelandbooks
The ones I have read have been absolutely amazing and I plan to slowly get all her books.
Moon Cursed is based on the famous Loch Ness Monster and spun into a beautiful tale. I love the paranormal vibes and writing style. I might put a proper review again soon!

As the host of the television show Hoax Hunters, she's traveled to the ends of the earth to explore—and expose—life's most enduring myths. Her latest undertaking is no exception: Kris is bound for Scotland, where she intends to get to the bottom of the Loch Ness Monster legend once and for all. Instead, Kris encounters something far more mysterious... For in the ruins of the lake's Urquhart Castle lies a heavenly creature—a sleek, muscled man with a seductive brogue named Liam Grant. One look into his eyes and Kris is already in danger of falling in too deep. Is Liam for real? Or has the spell of the moon touched them both?
QOTD : If you read poetry, who is your favourite poet?
My day has been filled with lots of good food and book.
Although I read Circe last week I have decided to write a short review here along with my pretty picture in the new theme.
Rant Review with MILD spoilers :
So one of the most striking thing about the book is the tone of it. Some like it, some don't. I didn't like it at first, and I'm not a fan till the end either, yet I read through because of the multiple greek tales that were spun and shown through Circe's eyes.
What I liked about the book was that I was curious to see what Circe was. She was different and when she realised it, she was content in being herself. The character development was good, I liked how she went from a weak naive girl in her shell to a strong woman, although it did take her CENTURIES to get their, but immortality is her privilege.
One of the most thing I hated that is that Circe well had sex with Three generations of men. Like sure, that's greek gods for you with their fetishes, yet as for Circe, I did not like it. I have so many more thoughts on this! Stay tuned for review videos if I ever get to them.
I rate 6.5/10 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹.
I enjoyed it, and finished it but I wasn't satisfied!
I have been busy reading, editing and doing too much at home. I actually continued with ACOMAF today, halfway done. Audiobooks are so slow AND then I hace to endure the secondhand embarrassment even longer. I'm being very thrifty with books so you'll catch me reading the ebooks more even though I adore those beautiful hardcovers.
Moving on in the picture is my gorgeous copy of Isle of Night by Veronica Wolff. I bought it when it first came out and really adored the book. It's the first book in the watcher series.
Moreover, My signed stickers and gorgeous bookmarks of First frost by Liz DeJesus
Synopsis :
Is life offering fewer and fewer options? Then join the dead. When Annelise meets dark and seductive Ronan, he promises her a new life-if she has the courage to chance the unknown. Now, she's whisked away to a mysterious island and pitted against other female recruits to become a Watcher-girls who are partnered with vampires and assist them in their missions. To survive and become a Watcher, Annelise has to beat out every other girl, but she's determined to do so, because to fail doesn't mean dishonor-it means death.
I'm thinking I'll slowly figure out how to do review videos once I am done with editing first draft. I am excited to share so many sneak peaks!
In the picture is The guardians of Ga'hoole and my beloved signed sticker and bookmarks.
I bought the book after I watched the movie and I absolutely loved the movie so naturally the book is awesome. I bought this book ages ago but it never disappoints. The movie is actually based on the complete series which is about 20 books i believe. Still to get the complete set!
Synopsis : Pushed from his family's nest by his older brother, barn owl Soren is rescued from certain death on the forest floor by agents from a mysterious school for orphaned owls, St. Aggie's. With a new friend, clever and scrappy Gylfie, he uncovers a training camp for the leader's own nefarious goal.
but now that I have overcome my bad mental health and have got myself moving, I find myself reading again which haven't done in 3 years. There is always progress kids!
I had an exhausting day but I am looking forward to curling up with my current read tonight.
I have started Circe by Madeline Miller.
Initial impressions of this book is I found the writing style to be very weird. It did not sit right with me. But the initial question posed in the book of is Circe pulled me in. I love greek Mythology and I like what I have read so far. I will definitely do a review video on this.
