Both songs happened to be finished right before "Vocaloid Collection 2024 Winter", so I participated in that.

I leave the decision of "Is this song in Japanese or English?" to each individual. Honestly, I don't care.

However, there are some things I'm interested in. Which do you prefer, English or Japanese?

I like the atmosphere created by the use of hard and soft Japanese characters.

However, Japanese is a language that is not suitable for "putting it into songs", and from the perspective of singing, it is a language with a low degree of freedom. The rhyme is not appropriate either, and people laugh at someone when someone rhyme in Japanese; That is a very shameful act, in japan.

From a rhyming point of view, English seems to be very good. I think English songs sound good to my ears.

でもね。English words are boring. In Japanese, people can easily create new idioms by combining kanji, but English does not have such a function, so there is very little freedom in that regard.

I feel that it really has its "一長一短".

Translating "荼​雲​/​/​Down" into Japanese (Old Japanese) was a lot of fun. It has Japanese characters that I like, and it has an English sound to it.

On the other hand, the Japanese lyrics for "明​け​烏​/​/​Ached Glass" are really boring, and I don't think the English translation is interesting.

ー But, that's just my opinion. What feels "good" will vary depending on the person.

Tiger. I'm sure there are many interpretations, but what I had in mind when making it was "Tipu's tiger", and the Celtic Tiger.

This song was born after rereading James Joyce's "Dubliners" for the first time in several years and scratching my head because I still couldn't understand it.

Reading while referring to the notes at the end of the book is a bit tedious. So inevitably end up reading at a slow pace, and I don't understand the local situation at the time, I can't really get into the content.
