I'm so so happy! I found this show called Summer Camp Island which is all about two best friends, male and female, who regularly say how much they love each other and are very physically affectionate and say/do things that are normally portrayed as romantic, but in the show they're portrayed as platonic!! The creators have confirmed that they will never get crushes on each other or anything. They get crushes on other characters but always say that they will never find someone like each other, and it's canon that they grow old together so it's not something they 'grow out of.' It's so wonderful to see a platonic relationship that's portrayed as as close as a romantic relationship. It makes me feel so much more confident in my identity and future. I highly recommend the show, it's a lot like Adventure Time (although warning: one of them has a crush on the other in the pilot but don't worry the pilot isn't canon they changed a bunch of other stuff as well)

Degenerative illnesses exist.
Not everyone gets better.
And a LOT of people don’t have even off-label treatments, let alone FDA approved ones.
Don’t assume someone doesn’t understand their own illness/pain.  They know their bodies better than you do.

sometimes people really forget that finding love isn't life. Its a part of life ... just a small part. You have dreams to chase and a self to love and make proud

does it ever hit you how much queer rep is in kids shows now. like it’s kinda funny how teenagers and adults are so into kids shows but like genuinely that’s the reason why kids are getting this good queer representation. kids can’t make petitions on twitter or spam netflix’s comment sections. if we weren’t here to show how much people enjoy these shows, networks would cancel them and kids wouldn’t get to see themselves on screen and know there’s nothing wrong with them or others

“I’ve been a massage therapist for many years, now. I know what people look like. People have been undressing for me for a long time. I know what you look like: a glance at you, and I can picture pretty well what you’d look like on my table. Let’s start here with what nobody looks like: nobody looks like the people in magazines or movies. Not even models. Nobody. Lean people have a kind of rawboned, unfinished look about them that is very appealing. But they don’t have plump round breasts and plump round asses. You have plump round breasts and a plump round ass, you have a plump round belly and plump round thighs as well. That’s how it works. And that’s very appealing too. Woman have cellulite. All of them. It’s dimply and cute. It’s not a defect. It’s not a health problem. It’s the natural consequence of not consisting of photoshopped pixels, and not having emerged from an airbrush. Men have silly buttocks. Well, if most of your clients are women, anyway. You come to male buttocks and you say – what, this is it? They’re kind of scrawny and the tissue is jumpy because it’s unpadded; you have to dial back the pressure, or they’ll yelp. Adults sag. It doesn’t matter how fit they are. Every decade, an adult sags a little more. All of the tissue hangs a little looser. They wrinkle, too. I don’t know who put about the rumor that just old people wrinkle. You start wrinkling when you start sagging, as soon as you’re all grown up, and the process goes its merry way as long as you live. Which is hopefully a long, long time, right? Everybody on a massage table is beautiful. There are really no exceptions to this rule. At that first long sigh, at that first thought that “I can stop hanging on now, I’m safe” – a luminosity, a glow, begins. Within a few minutes the whole body is radiant with it. It suffuses the room: it suffuses the massage therapist too. People talk about massage therapists being caretakers, and I suppose we are: we like to look after people, and we’re easily moved to tenderness. But to let you in on a secret: I’m in it for the glow. I’ll tell you what people look like, really: they look like flames. Or like the stars, on a clear night in the wilderness.”

i need people online to understand that pegging is just a sex act. it has no morality or sexuality or politics attached. it's not inherently feminist, it's not a personality type, it's not something to be inflicted on anyone. it's literally just a sex act, nothing more.
people like cara delevingne wearing a "peg the patriarchy" shirt or whatever only make sense if they view pegging as some kind of degradation or domineering. "have consensual sex with the patriarchy"? does that make any sense? no, and neither does your shirt. shut the fuck up.
maybe there's something to be said about men who aren't so caught up in a homophobic mindset that they don't freak out at the idea of penetration, but that's more of a non-behavior than anything. and men who don't enjoy it aren't misogynistic or anything either. it's all completely neutral. stop treating pegging as anything other than just a kind of sex act people can do!!!!! that's all it is!!!!
