Jaune is walking up to RWBY’s door to ask Weiss out. Of this doesn’t work he’ll stop he gets to the door and is about to knock when he overhears a conversation between Weiss and an RBY member with the topic being himself . If not angsty that’s fine.

Weiss: I am so sick and tired of him doing this!

Yang: Yeah, it is getting kind of sad.

Weiss: You aren't helping! Helping him be "a Yang-man". Ugh!

Yang: Hey, he almost had you.

Weiss: But then he turned out to be just as bad as the rest of my suitors!

Ruby: What suitors?

Weiss: Ruby! Not! Now!

Blake: Have you tried be straight with him?

Weiss: Of course I have! He's just too stupid to know that when a girl says no, she means never!

Jaune's hand fell from the air to his side. He was about to make his final attempt to woo the young Weiss, only for his attempt to fail before it could even be called an attempt. He felt a great swelling pain in his chest as harsh word after harsh word entered his ears and landed directly into his heart. He was about to leave when something else caught his attention.

Weiss: And it's all the more aggravating that the only woman who finds any charm in him is his own partner!

Jaune: !

Weiss: I don't know what it is, but every time I vent to her about this issue, she seems to take his side! There's a fine line between loyalty and being a yes-man for everything someone does.

Blake: ...You do know why that is, don't you?

The trailer for the 2nd RWBYxDC crossover movie is out!

And there’s no team JNPR, so my interest has tanked.

Don’t get me wrong, it does look good, and team RWBY’s outfits are fun, but no JNPR? That just feels… wrong.

Team JNPR has been a part of the show from the first volume, and while they were arguably background characters in Volumes 1-3, by Volume 4 and beyond they are very much an integral part of the story, and there are plenty of people (like myself) who actually favors JNPR over RWBY as their favorite team.

Think about it, when’s the last time we had RWBY without JNPR? Even in V9 Jaune was there. Team JNPR has always been a part of team RWBY’s adventures, and they were in the first movie. So not having them in this one just doesn’t feel right, honestly.

Yes, I’m still going to watch it, and eventually I’ll review it too, but I can’t help but think that the entire time I’m watching team RWBY and these super heroes fight Grimm, there’s going to be a persistent thought in the back of my head: ‘Team JNPR should be here too.’ And I know I’m not the only one thinking that.

Also for those of you who have sent in ship asks I haven’t answered yet, don’t worry. I will get to them, I’ve just been busy.
