Ok so I take sertraline (generic zoloft) and I decided to look through the zoloft tag on Tumblr for shits n giggles.
Let me tell you. When I first started this medication, I was told by my doctor and every friend who had ever tried it that the medication makes you drowsy, and you should take it before going to bed. When I started taking the smallest possible dose and found myself experiencing horrible nightmares, brain zaps, muscle spasms, and an inability to sit still and sleep for even an hour, I thought something was terribly wrong with me. Started taking it in the morning and nearly every side effect went away. It almost gave me a welcome boost to my mornings. The Tumblr tag seems to express this exact same sentiment. Why the fuck was I told that the medication would make me drowsy?
It IS true that being on here gives you a tumblr accent. This morning my mother asked me something and i replied "i don't know i've never heard these words in that order" and she nearly choked laughing. It wasn't even that funny
Apparently there was some kind of race scheduled at a local park or something so I've been trying to avoid the main trail but a little while ago when I had to cross near it I overheard the following shouted exchange
Higher feminine voice: woo, look at you go! You're jogging! Keep it up!
Lower masculine voice (panting): you know it! Last place is still a place, baby!
And goddamn if that didn't rewire my brain a little bit.

Some personal DnD art for the means of self-indulgence. I was originally just drafting up a rough idea for myself but eventually figured this one could be worth the refinement. Glad I spent the time on it, felt good.
Thank you for your time ❀
Added a small timelapse - the quality ended up pretty bad all things considered, so Idk if its worth uploading to YT like this. TvT
