okay but I was just thinking TODAY about “woah maybe I can’t” and how it’s absolutely the real turning point of the album!!!!

And the modern idiots part is everythinggggg to me because it just—no more loving, sensible, SANE thing to say in the situation that song (and so much of this album) is about. That’s the flash of Austen/common sense REALNESS in her! I feel it grounds the whole song.

I love your other choices but also 100% don’t recognize them as the second half is a new album to me still haha.
