A post-S1 canon continuation

They sneak back into the school for more privacy. Ellis unlocks a special side door for athletes and pulls Juliette into a janitor’s closet near the gym.
Cal finds them.
Ellis startles, almost toppling the plastic supply shelves.
“Get off of her, Jules!” Cal grabs her by the shoulders to haul her away and Jules is knocked off her high, absolutely mortified. “Oh my God, did you–?”
Ellis is smart enough to read the room quickly, even under the intensity of Cal glaring at her messy ponytail, the lipstick on her cheek and the collar of her white team uniform. “Er… I’ll wait for you outside the building, Jules.”
Cal turns back to Jules and goes to touch her mouth. Jules snags her by the wrist before she can.
“Is that blood on your mouth? You’re drinking from girls at school now?”
Jules scoffs. “What do you think?”
Cal pushes away, still scowling at her mouth.
“When did you start wearing red lipstick?”
“Since I wanted to kiss my girlfriend after her track meet today.” Jules narrows her eyes. “What are you doing here?”
“I forgot my physics book in my locker.”
The telltale uptick of Cal’s heartbeat is different from when she’s scared, or fired up for a fight, or when she’s kissing Jules.
Liar.
Cal shifts under force of Jules’ glare. “You look flushed.”
“Excuse me?”
“Like you’ve been feeding.”
It’s a poor cover-up for Cal assuming, and they both know it.
“That is none of your business.”
She expects the hunter to back off at the venom in her tone. Instead, Cal steps closer, pins her to the wall with her hips.
“What are you doing?” Jules hisses.
Cal’s eyes flick down to Jules’ mouth and back. “Minding your business, I guess.”
Jules leans in a little, close enough for the heat of Cal’s breath to tickle her face before she catches herself. She’s like a helpless little planet, still revolving around the stupid gravity of Cal’s sun.
