Another anonymous source sent me some sweet meet & greet tidbits, this time from Jared’s at the Denver convention, about Walker, the finale, and J2.

Transcript (Walker):

Earlier: a fan asked about what Jared had learned and taken from the SPN set. Jared answered that he’d learned that 14 hour days weren’t necessary, and said that they’d only had a handful of days where they’d worked more than 10-12 hours straight. He mentioned that it’s nice to be the EP, because when an actor complains about another shot, it’s just whining but as an EP everyone’s just like “yes sir” and they move on.

He also talked about the atmosphere on set, and how he wants it to be lighthearted and fun, because everyone should be doing something that they love. Some people are reluctant to include him in jokes and pranks because he’s not only the lead but the EP, and he is working hard to make sure everyone knows he’s someone they can joke around with and prank and treat as a fellow coworker rather than just the boss.

Transcript (the finale and the Samulet):

This was towards the end, so Jared’s answer was a little quicker than I feel like it might have been otherwise (he refused to leave before everyone had a chance to speak to him, even though his handler tried to pull him away twice).

A fan asked about the amulet, and why Dean wasn’t wearing it on the bridge. Jared replied that there were a lot of things that they wished they could have included, but that would have made for a 20 hour episode. They DID talk about having Dean wear the amulet, but in the end they decided that it’s meaning had changed because of it’s new purpose and so left it out. He was also then quick to add that he did still have it at his house in Austin, which made me feel that he wanted us to know that it still had it’s original meaning for HIM.

Transcript (J2):

Another fan thanked him for the finale, and talked about how much she loved it for a sec, then mentioned that she’d noticed he and Jensen were cursing a lot more than usual this weekend. He laughed and said they weren’t used to talking at cons anymore, and joked about him and Jensen cursing all the time when they’re in the car together. He also told a cute story about sharing Star Wars with Shep when he was little–around 4 years old. They were watching the scene where Luke gets his hand cut off and Shep says “Oh shit” very quietly. And Jared was trying not to laugh, and joked about debating whether to even try and correct him, since after all he’d used it correctly…

An anonymous source sent me this footage of Jensen discussing Jared and the prequel during his meet & greet at DenverCon.

Transcript:

“Robbie had a lot of work to do, he had his work cut out for him, and he wasn't… I think he had just come up with an outline of the, of the first episode when Deadline found out about it. And we have a network and a studio and agents and lawyers who have had to talk about contracts being that if the show does do something because all of the contracts are negotiated before anything ever happens. And of course that’s how Deadline gets their connections, they’re like hey give ya a hundred bucks if you got any insider information.

I wasn’t, I didn’t even tell my parents about it y'know, and, and, so that was early so I was superstitious and I don’t talk about it because that’ll jinx it. And then it came out and then everybody was like ‘oh, quick, repost, y'know make sure, make sure it’s not, make sure everybody knows it’s true and not, not false reporting.’ And so I did.

And I was on the set of The Boys that day and I kinda reposted it and said something quick and went back to set. And that’s the thing about The Boys, there’s no phones and no email, so I stayed on set, 12 hours a day playing backgammon with Karl Urban, and because this was kind of a big thing I went 'I have to go to the bathroom,’ I don’t have to, I ran back to my trailer and grabbed my phone and saw Jared tweeted back and, and he was right, I should totally- I wish he’d hadn’t found out like that, I would have loved to have given him the pitch and I did and he, he, we’re lovely, I’m about to go direct Walker and y'know, and we’re laughing ab- thank you, and he called me and he was like, 'hey do you want me to find a way, do you wanna direct me or something or do you wanna do something bigger later on down the road?’ and I was like, 'both, and by the way if you don’t think I’m gonna M. Night Shyamalan the hell out of this and put myself in your show…’”

hi there. I was in Denver con this weekend and in Jensen's M&G. I wanted to share something he said there but since we aren't supposed to share, I decided to come to you anonymously so maybe you can spread it. It was mentioned by someone about Jensen directing Walker, and Jensen loved to hear that. Jensen proceeded to talk about how Jared and him have been talking about it, and Jared asked Jensen if he would like to make a cameo on the episode he is directing, or if he would prefer to 1/2

wait for a while and perhaps have a larger role down the road. Jensen's answer? Both. He said he's definitely planing on find someway to insert himself in the ep he's directing, how he's going to (quoting him) "M. Night Shyamalan the shit out of the episode". So what I got from this was that they're perhaps talking about something bigger for Jensen in the future in Walker, so there's a chance we will actually see Jensen in it! 2/2

Hi! Are there going to be make-up cons for the ones we missed this year? I never expected SPN to end without some sort of closure from our boys.

There’s a whole list of cons on creation’s website starting in February and going through the entire year but a lot is going to depend on the virus. I understand, believe me. I miss them too.

Thanks, anon. I just get super annoyed with TIP rumors. Honestly I think Jensen is in Colorado with his aunts and maybe some extended family for the holidays and Jared is most likely in Austin because they were filming until just the other day. Now that they’re working separate projects, there are going to be times like that and people flipping out over it isn’t helpful at all.

I haven't kept up with j2 but a friend told me that they no longer live near one another with jensen moving to a whole other state and that it seems they broke up. I was wondering if there was any truth to this or if you guys have any theories? It saddens me to think that they ended things, and even more that they may have ended things so badly Jensen moved himself and the kids away :(

Jensen isn’t moving anywhere. His family and his businesses are in Austin. He meant he moved them temporarily for the holidays. I really, really hate trouble in paradise stuff so please stop trying to create drama.

Very dirty J2 in the season 15 gag reel

Hey love! So there's this "slip" that happened awhile back and I always thought it was funny how we don't talk about it in the fandom, cause it's kinda insane. As in, undeniable proof (perhaps) of J2. It was a con where JP was showing his fave emoji and he showed his phone to the audience and we could see a little bit of the messages between him and JA. And there was one, around 3am or 4am idk, which JA sent "you do know we have a con tomorrow, right?" as in, "where are you, it's late". But ++

++ but then I'm like okay how did he know Jared wasn't back yet? Cause every single het explanation makes no sense. Cause first of all if he sent that then he was obviously already back at the hotel and most likely in bed. So what? He got up to pee, decided to get into JPs room (which he randomly had the key to) and check on him (for no reason) then sent the text? Idk, it's been years and I'm very skeptical but I can't find an explanation that isn't couply for this one. I tried but couldn't 🤷

++ So to me it was kinda obvious that Jensen was in bed, probably woke up in the middle of the night, noticed Jared wasn't with him yet, then texted him that. Cause I swear to god I tried to come up with all sorts of explanations but none make logical sense. So I guess I just wanted to share and get your take on this cause I can't be the only one who thought about it. Much love and I adore your blog!

jaredpadalecki Well, here goes… I write this as I head to my last day of #Supernatural. My last day with #SamWinchester. Obviously, my head is spinning and my emotions are stratospheric, but there’s still a bit of time left on the clock. Thank y’all SO MUCH for the incredible amount of love and support that’s been headed our way, in these final hours. It’s definitely been felt. jensenackles Woke up at 6am this morning. That alarm went off with a heavy tone. Today is the final day of a 15 year journey. One that has changed my life forever. To those I have worked with on this journey and to those who have watched and supported…you will never understand my great appreciation for you. “Thank you” doesn’t cover it. There just aren’t words. I’m so grateful for these memories that I will carry with me forever. What a ride it has been. And what a run. #spnfamilyforever here are a few shots from our final days… including today.
