Is The meaning of family still being worked on despite it being over a year now?

Yes!

So, very tragically, writing does not pay my bills and due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to put TMOF on the back burner for quite a while. I kept thinking it would only be a little longer before I had time to write again... and then life kept kicking me in the shins.

All that to say, I’ve been working on it little by little over the past couple months. It will still probably be June before I post again (my writing chops are rusty and one of my plotting notebooks is MIA), but it will be back.

Unless I die between now and then. Which I’m not expecting to do. But just in case, I do have an arrangement with a friend to post a short summary of how the story would’ve gone. So you’ll hear from me, no worries!

Hey so I just finish TMOF and I notice you mention a possible story of little Marinette thinking d as he is a Fae, and I was wondering if you wrote anything down for it?

Yep, absolutely! I'll be adding this to my AO3 account sometime soon, but here's a little sneak peak of 'The Trials of Raising a Faerie Changeling.'

In retrospect, Sabine really should’ve known better than to let Gina babysit. Combining her rule-averse mother-in-law with her incredibly creative, super-powered four-year old daughter? It was a recipe for disaster from the start.

“Nona Gina told you what?”

“The faeries like me, Maman!” Marinette beamed up at Sabine with unrestrained glee. “That must be why I can fly!”

“Oh, really?” Sabine felt a little out of her depth.

How can I crush her belief in faeries and magic so early? It seems cruel.

“Are you sure about that, darling?” Tom frowned.

Marinette hummed, feet hovering a couple of centimeters above the floor. “Well, I should probably do more research. My teacher says that thorough research is the best way to find the answer.”

“Good idea,” Sabine said, relieved.

Maybe this way, she’ll realize without us having to crush her dreams.

Spoiler alert, this did not work out.

As weird as this may sound, some people do like working fast food. PT stands for part-time, so it's not like he's working a 40 hour work week or anything. Not to mention, as a 14 year old, he's probably just taking orders and washing dishes. If he's enjoying what he's doing, working towards something he wants, I'm confused on what the problem is?
