“We can spend our lives letting the world tell us who we are. Sane or insane. Saints or sex addicts. Heroes or victims. Letting history tell us how good or bad we are. Letting our past decide our future. Or we can decide for ourselves. And maybe it’s our job to invent something better.” - Chuck Palahniuk, Choke

We Never Learn: A Review
Anime follows the story of Nariyuki Yuiga, a senior high school student attending Ichinose Academy, as he tutors three geniuses of different subjects in order to secure a university scholarship.
Fumino Furuhashi is a genius in literature, but horrible at mathematics.
Rizu Ogata is a genius in mathematics, but terrible at literature; and
Uruka Takemoto is a genius in the athletic field, but dreadful at all other subjects.
As the girls work with Nariyuki to achieve their academic goals, they must also deal with their growing feelings for him. The main girls are lucky Sekijou is not in the running, with how well she gets along with Yuiga, how distinct is her design and how good she looks I think she could easily steal the win.To be honest I have secretly been wishing for that surprise end.
I’d give this story a 8/10 with the Story, Animation and Characters. I’ve already seen the Manga and this anime is still worth checking out. Some says it copied Go-toubon’s but I think it’s not. Same concept, yes. But considering that this was aired 6 months before Go-toubon made me believe that it’s really not.

Who Are You: School 2015- A Review
Who you: School 2015 is a 2015 South Korean Television Series that has 16 Episode, just like any other. Starring Kim So Hyun (Lee Eun Bi and Go Eun Byul), Nam Joo Hyuk (Han Yi An) and BTOB’s Yook Sung Jae (Gong Tae Kwang).
I have already watched this sooo many times and I never get tired of it. This is only the K-Drama that I watched completely, without skipping anything. Not even a minute of it. The main focus of this story may be common which is bullying, but the story goes way deeper. Truth be told, this is one of my worse case of Second Lead Syndrome. I can’t help but feel sad for Gong Tae Kwang everytime I watch this. This Drama never fail give me the same feels I have felt since my first time watching. I love how the casts portrayed the characters and their acting? Ah, they’re really good! Kim So Hyun never disappoints me when it comes to her acting. Be it a lead or support.
It has a lot of plot twist and it’s really worth watching. I even downloaded it because I always watch this every now and then and I thought it’d be okay to just download this. This is really a must watch for every K-Drama fans out there. You won’t regret watching it. This drama has it all. Drama? check. Romance? Check. Mystery? Check. Thriller? Check. I’d give this drama a 10/10!
“Trying to set things right after telling a lie, is a very difficult thing to do. You may lose a lot. Many people may point their fingers at you. But if you ignore and look the other way, it will get harder and harder to be truthful. You’ll end up choosing cowardice.” -Teacher Kim Joon Seok, Who are you: School 2015 (Episode 9)

My ID is Gangnam Beauty: A Review
My ID is Gangnam Beauty, a 2018 South Korean Television Series. Just like some of the other K-Drama there is, it is also adapted from Webtoon Story that was been released way back 2016. The main casts of this Drama are Im Soo Hyang (Kang Mi Rae), ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo (Do Kyung Seok), Joo Woo Ri (Hyun Soo A), Kwak Dong Yeon (Yeon Woo Yong).
A lot of friends of mine who also watches K-Drama told me that this is must watch K-Drama that has a fresh and new content so I gave it a try but let’s be honest here. I really do not consider this as a Drama that has A Fresh content. It is one of your typical High School/College Romance Drama that’s content is all about a lead, that was bullied because of her looks and another lead that is famous for his looks. Nothing new.
Things I notice as I watch this Drama:
Overused plot.
Female lead who’s bullied because of her looks, handsome male lead falling in love with the Female lead because she’s kind and all. I’ve already seen a lot of stories like this. The flow of the story is already expected. Doesn’t have much of plot twist. The story isn’t that deep but still managed to leave a message which is what’s really important. Though I’m gonna be honest. The only reason why I managed to watch this til the very end is because of my bias wrecker, Cha Eun Woo. That’s all.
Your usual pretty annoying second lead who keeps on ruining your ship.
From the very beginning, I know that Hyun Soo A will be one of my hate list. I know it. She’s pretty, okay, that’s given. But her Personality? Meh. Don’t get me started with it.
Bullying
It’s nice how this series included this issue that most of us has already experienced. Let’s be real. No matter how many messages there is, saying to stop bullying. It doesn’t seem to have an end. No matter what you say, no matter what you do. Cases like this may decrease, but it will never come to an end.
Lots of romantic but cliché moments.
Overused scenes just to make it romantic. Some scenes were okay but I actually didn’t feel the chemistry between Cha Eun Woo and Im Soo Hyang.
This series is just light. A series that talks about one’s appearance. I’d give this Series a 5/10. Both for the Acting and the plot.

Kamisama no Iu toori: A Review
For me, Kami-sama no iu toori or As God’s will is your typical survival themed movie but it was entertaining nonetheless. It think the live action is somehow better than the manga. Many find it scary, but I actually find it entertaining and funny.
The students played a total of 5 games all in all. It’s Daruma, Maneki neko, Kokeshi, Shirou kuma and lastly, Matroyoshka.
Things I noticed as I watch the live action:
THE END OF EVERY GAMES WERE PRETTY UNEXPECTED.
I’d say that with all the games, the first one is what I really enjoy with all the blowing head stuff. Things in the games is kind of pretty unexpected. Take it from the first game, where the last two standing students, Shun and Satake both thought that the game would end and both of them will be saved after one of them press the button. But it turns out, only the one who pushed the button will be saved.
IT SEEMS LIKE THE GAME WAS JUST ALL ABOUT PURE LUCK.
Take it from Akimoto Ichika. She survived until the very last game with the help of Shun but in the end, she was been killed because of the luck thing.
SOME PARTS ARE CONFUSING.
I just feel like the God part wasn’t explained thoroughly in the live action and even in the first manga
The guy who locked himself in his room as well. I didn’t exactly get what his role was and my confusion just summed up when he suddenly left his room, saying that he’ll save the world.
I literally don’t know why those people clap and cheer upon seeing the last two students. Where in fact they should be scared with all the creepy things that has happened and maybe mad. But they didn’t. They were happy cheering those two as if they just won a competition worth boosting of where in fact it’s not.
My thoughts on how did really everything started was unanswered. Shun just guess that everything happened because he keeps on complaining about his boring life but there was really no specific or solid explanation for it.
All in all it was okay. Though I bet it would’ve been better if things were explained thoroughly because I feel like they just focused on the game itself, setting aside other little things that probably would’ve answered everything and if there’s a character that I really liked in this live action, it’s definitely the Psycho, Amaya Takeru and I love the fact that Ryunosuke Kamiki effortlessly pulled off Amaya Takeru’s character. To be honest, I see him as the Main protagonist more than Shun is.
If you’re someone who’s into playing games, tortures and stuff. I’d recommend this (lol). But if you’re a hemophobic, I’d say you should skip this one but if you really want to, then just prepare yourself especially with the first game. I’d give this a 6/10.

Fairy Tail: A Review
So far, Fairy Tail is the only anime I’ve watch from the very first episode till the very last update. It’s now on its Third and final season and I must say, this anime never ceases to amaze me. You could really see how every Character and the Art, itself, developed as well which made me love this anime even more and I just can’t believe that there are only 10 Episodes left for this Anime.
I love how this anime showcased the importance of Friendship and Family. That you don’t have to be related by blood to consider one as your Family. That nothing is impossible as long as you have hope. As long as you have your Friends and Family beside you and I guess, that was the main focus and message of the story.
Despite of its beauty, there’s still other viewers who never liked it. Saying that the fan service was too much, the plot armor is too much, the friendship thing is nothing but trash. So much hate but there they are, still watching and waiting for the next episode to come.
All in all, I love this Anime. It gave me such a roller coaster ride and this’ll always be one of my favorites. If you’re someone who likes to watch an anime that is just light, I definitely recommend this. For me, it’s really worth watching. I’ll give it an 8/10.
