Independent Balochistan is key to peace in Afghanistan and in the region: Hyrbyair Marri
LONDON: Baloch pro-freedom leader Hyrbyair Marri said in a statement that the Pakistan is a constant threat to world peace and to its neighbouring nations and its expansionist designs have jeopardized the peace of the region.
Expressing his views on the possible impact of US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Baloch patriot leader said that it was an open fact that Pakistan has always nurtured the terrorists and declared them as its strategic depth by providing safe havens and sanctuary to them. “Osama bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad and Pakistan’s clear and unambiguous support for Haqqani network are clear examples of Pakistan’s collusion with fundamentalist groups,” Mr Marri said.
He said seeing US forces withdrawal [as an opportunity] Pakistan once again wants to re-establish its influence in Afghanistan and its proxy fundamentalist groups have increased the incidents of terrorism on Afghan soil. He said the recent wave of terrorism in Afghanistan is evidence of the fact that Pakistan’s strategic assets are once again active at the expense of Afghanistan’s peace. “Such actions are strongly deplorable and in these circumstances the US aid and support is providing more succour to Pakistan’s expansionist ambitions,” he said adding that the civilized world should think before giving aid to Pakistan because their aid is not being used for the prevention of terrorism but to nurture it. The US aid is also being used to continue the genocide of Baloch and Sindhi people and to strengthen illegal occupation of Pakistan in Sindh and Balochistan.
He said that Pakistan has always claimed that it gained independence from British imperialism after enormous sacrifices and long struggle but in fact Punjabi elite and Pakistan’s Punjabi dominated army used their military force, which they inherited from the British, to attack Baloch nation and occupy their country. He said according to Pakistan’s claims it gained independence from British imperialism and occupation, but the fact is that Pakistan itself has become an imperialist and occupied Balochistan, Pakistan is committing same barbarism and savagery in Balochistan what it did in Bangladesh [in 1970s].
He said the Sindhis on South and the Afghans in the North are also victims of Pakistan’s aggression and they have been forced to become unnatural part of Pakistan without their consent. Mr Marri said on one hand India was tolerating Pakistan aggression and on the other hand Pakistan was the biggest obstacle to Afghanistan’s peace and prosperity. He said Pakistan has never recognised Afghanistan as an independent country in real terms and to fulfill its evil designs Pakistan considers the bloodshed, interventions, destroying the peace and interfering in Afghanistan’s internal affairs its legitimate right.
Hyrbyair Marri said that the Pakistanis themselves have openly expressed their support for Taliban. Pakistani General Nasirullah Babar said the Taliban are children of Pakistan whereas General Aslam Beg and Hameed Gul consider these terrorists a strategic asset and people like General Musharraf and Sartaj Aziz have openly said on media that intervention in Afghanistan in their right. He said against the backdrop of Pakistan’s ambitions it won’t be wrong to say that after the US withdrawal in Afghanistan, Pakistan will once again accelerate its bloodshed in Afghanistan.
The Baloch pro-liberation leader said that if the ISAF forces withdraw from Afghanistan without containing Pakistan’s terrorist army and their assets then Pakistan will make this region a safe haven for terrorists which will have terrible consequences for the entire world and it will be very difficult to control them. He said it is clear that without recognising the independence of occupied Baloch nation and limiting Pakistani army to their original boundary in Punjab it is difficult eradicate terrorism in the region and fulfil the dream of world peace. “The key to peace in Afghanistan and the region is independent Balochistan, Pakistan occupied Baloch land at gunpoint and now it is busy looting Baloch natural resources to strengthen its terrorist army. Due to the strategic importance of occupied Balochistan Pakistan is becoming a threat to Baloch nation’s historical ally Afghanistan, India and other nations,” Mr Marri said.
Hyrbyar Marri said Pakistan, for its own interests, has allowed Iran to take military action in Eastern occupied Balochistan which is wrong and deplorable. “If Pakistan permitted Iran then under the same pretext Afghanistan and India should have the right to take action in Punjab.” He said all the effected nations and countries must now jointly struggle to prevent Pakistan’s threats to the regional and world peace and stability.

#Pakistan and #Iran have always cooperated against Baloch national interests: Hyrbyair Marri
Baloch leader and the head of Free Balochistan Movement Hyrbyair Marri said in a statement from London that the occupying states of #Iran and #Pakistan have always closely cooperated against the Baloch national cause in order to counter and eliminate the Baloch freedom struggle.
He said that both states were equally involved in occupying Balochistan and committing gross human rights violations against the Baloch people, and in the past, both the states have jointly fought against the Baloch nation. However, due to the current religious, political and economic ambitions in the region the relationship between Iran and Pakistan has become temporarily strained. Because of this tension, both states have adopted dangerous policies against the Baloch national struggle. Both occupying states, through their infamous intelligence agencies, are trying to pit pro-freedom organisations against each other on both sides of occupied Balochistan. In some places, they have succeeded, in others, their evils designs have failed.
Mr Marri said, regardless of whether you are struggling against Pakistan or Iran, if you get support from one of those occupying states and use it against your own Baloch brothers, who may be under the occupation of the other state, it is as if you are chopping off a part of your own body. The Baloch nation will suffer as a result of Baloch organisations fighting against each other. The civil war of Iraqi Kurdistan is a clear example, where the KPD and PUK have become proxies of neighbouring nations, Kurds were killed at the hands of their fellow Kurds. In three years’ time, more than eight thousand Kurds were martyrs and many people are still disappeared.
Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri said in his statement that Balochistan is the land of the Baloch nation, the Baloch nation consists of various schools of thought, including Muslim, non-Muslim, secular, religious, socialist and moderate people, and all these people despite thinking differently and having different ideas can still play a vital role in the Baloch freedom struggle. It will be unwise to reject any Balochs’ struggle because of their different thinking and different ideologies. How is it possible that millions of people would follow one school of thought?
He further added that the imperialist forces divided Balochistan into different parts and then divided each part into different areas, and now some narrow-minded Baloch organisations want to divide Balochistan and Baloch nation permanently, on an ideological basis – like how the German and Korean nations were divided only on an ideological basis. If this political attitude prevails then an independent Balochistan will be divided on the ideological and regional basis, where instead of gaining political power through the constitution and vote, religious leaders, socialists, atheists and tribal people will not hesitate to impose their ideologies on each other, to divide the independent Baloch state and nation furthermore.
Hyrbyair Marri said, “The Baloch nation has never accepted the Goldsmith line drawn by colonial powers, and they will never accept it.” The Baloch political activists from both sides of occupied Balochistan can take refuge and live in any part of Balochistan. “If Baloch from Iranian occupied Balochistan takes refuge in Pakistan occupied Balochistan and vice versa, it does not matter, because Balochistan is one, and it is our shared country.” In fact, strategically planned appeal for asylum is not a danger to the Baloch national interest but accepting the artificial line (boundaries) and becoming mercenary soldiers of other states, and being used against the Baloch nation, endangers the entire Baloch national cause.
In these circumstances, if activists from both sides of occupied Balochistan become proxies of their eternal enemies and work against each other, it will immensely damage the Baloch national interests. First, these two states will use Baloch against each other, and then after a minor improvement in their relationship, they will become allies and use the Baloch as a bargaining chip to please each other. Mr Marri said that freedom of any part of Balochistan will be the beginning of the independence of a United Balochistan, and that is why Baloch activists from both sides of occupied Balochistan should use their power and energy against the occupying states [Iran and Pakistan].

Balochistan Liberation Charter
The essence of the Baloch liberation charter is about recognising the agonizing fact that if the people of Balochistan do not regain their freedom and independence, they will meet an even graver prospect than that of the Native Americans and Australian Aborigines. Nobody came to save these peoples and no one will come to rescue the Baloch. Only people who live in Balochistan can bring self-determination. So the centrepiece of the Balochistan liberation charter is self-reliance. Living under colonial control is degrading and socially incapacitating. Expecting salvation from the colonial establishments is ill-founded. Submission, be it out fear or ignorance, in this respect contain the seeds of self-destruction. The ruling colonisers would only conspire against Baloch people and prosper at expense of their misery. Once Baloch believe in their own abilities and rights then they can and will get rid of the colonial bandits from their homeland. It is then that they can establish a modern, democratic and workable political system according to their own values, codes, culture, state of development and environment.
A liberation charter is an essential requirement of any subjugated nation. Without a lucid and progressive roadmap that can act as guardian of public interest – the liberation movements will probably fail. One note of caution that we need to remind ourselves here is that having a charter by itself, although is a necessary requirement, is not in itself sufficient for a successful liberation movement. Without a charter the liberation movement would clearly be in a much weaker position. At the heart of our movement must be the respect and commitment to democratic principles. No tiny group should control and lead our liberation movement. Our movement is one that embraces all of the Baloch nation and strives to win independence and freedom.

پیرس(پهلین خاران نیوز) دہشتگردی کی مالی وسائل روکنے کیلئے عالمی تنظیم فنانشل ایکشن ٹاسک فورس نے گذشتہ سال پاکستان کو گرے لسٹ میں شامل کرتے ہوئے منی لانڈرنگ اور دہشت گردی کے لیے مالی وسائل کی روک تھام کے لیے موثر اقدامات کرنے کا کہا تھا۔عالمی تنظیم نے پاکستان کو اس سال ستمبر تک 27 نکاتی ایکشن پلان پر عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنانے کیلئے کہا تھا۔ بصورت دیگر ایک قدم اور آگے بلیک لسٹ میں شامل کردیا جائے گا۔ دہشت گردی کے لیے مالی وسائل کی ترسیل روکنے کے لئے قائم عالمی تنظیم ‘فنانشل ایکشن ٹاسک فورس’ (FATF) اور پاکستان کے درمیان اجلاس سوموار سے پیرس میں شروع ہو گیا ہے۔ جبکہ پاکستانی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ اس پہلے مرحلے میں کامیاب ہوجائیں گے۔ لیکن انڈیا کی جانب سے کلعدم جماعتوں کے معاملے کو اٹھائے جانے کا امکان ہے۔
انڈیا کے وزیر داخلہ نے اپنے زیر انتظام کشمیر کے پلوامہ ضلع میں ہونے والے دہشت گرد حملےکے بعد جو اقدامات اٹھانے کا ذکر کیا ان میں پاکستان کو FATF کی بلیک لسٹ میں لانا بھی شامل تھا۔فنانشل ایکشن ٹاسک فورس کو مجوزہ پلان آف ایکشن کے تحت کیے گئے اقدامات سے آگاہ کرنے کے لئے پاکستان کا ایک وفد وفاقی سیکرٹری خزانہ کی قیادت میں پیرس اجلاس میں شریک ہے۔
ایف اے ٹی ایف کا اجلاس 17 سے 22 فروری تک جاری رہے گا۔ البتہ پاکستان کے ساتھ ایشیاء پیسفک گروپ کا اجلاس سوموار سے شروع ہوا ہے۔ پاکستان کے ایف اے ٹی ایف ممبر نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے ایشیا پیسفک گروپ پاکستان کی کارگردی رپورٹ اجلاس میں پیش کرے گا۔
ایف اے ٹی ایف کے ایکشن پلان پر پاکستان نے اپنی اگلی کارکردگی رپورٹ رواں سال مئی جبکہ حتمی رپورٹ ستمبر میں بھی پیش کرنی ہے ۔
پاکستانی حکام ایف اے ٹی ایف کے ایشیا پیسیفک گروپ کو دہشت گردی کے لیے مالی وسائل کو روکنے کی کوششوں، جعلی اکاونٹس اور مشکوک ٹرانزیکشنز کیخلاف اقدامات بارے میں آگاہ کرے گا اور ممنوعہ تنظیموں سے متعلق ایف اے ٹی ایف کے تحفظات دور کرنے کی کوشش کرے گا۔
وزارت خزانہ حکام کادعوہ ہے کہ پاکستان نے منی لانڈرنگ اور دہشت گردی کے لیے رقوم کی فراہمی کو روکنے کے لیے اسٹیٹ بنک، دیگر بنکوں اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے درمیان مربوط تعاون کو مزید بہتر کیا ہے۔ اسی بنا پر اجلاس میں شریک پاکستانی حکام پر امید ہیں کہ پاکستان یہ پہلا سنگ میل کامیابی سے عبور کر لے گا۔اکستانی حکام کے مطابق انڈیا چاہتا ہے کہ پاکستان ممنوعہ تنظیموں کے خلاف اقدامات اور شواہد پر مبنی تفصیلات سے آگاہ کرے۔اور نئی دہلی ایسی معلومات اور شواہد چاہتا ہے جن سے ان ممنوعہ تنظیموں کی بھارتی بارڈر کے نزدیک سرگرمیوں پر ان کے تحفظات دور ہو سکیں۔
گذشہ ماہ اجلاس میں بھی انڈین وفد نے کلعدم جماعتوں، لشکر طیبہ، فلاح انسانیت فاونڈیشن، جیش محمد، جماعت الدعوہ اور چار دیگر ممنوعہ تنظیموں کا معاملہ اٹھایا تھا۔
انڈیا کے زیر انتظام کشمیر کے پلوامہ ضلع میں ہونے والے دہشت گرد حملے کی ذمہ داری بھی مبینہ طور پر ممنوعہ تنظیم جیش محمد نے قبول کی .تاہم انڈیا کی جانب سے کشمیر کے ضلع پلوامہ میں ہونے والے دہشت گرد حملے کے بعد پاکستان کو بلیک لسٹ کروانے کیلئے انڈین وزیر داخلہ کے بیان کو پاکستان نظر انداز نہیں کر رہا۔ پاکستانی حکام کو خدشہ ہے کہ انڈیا کلعدم تنظیموں کا معاملہ اٹھا کر پاکستان کے لئے مزید مشکل صورتحال پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کر سکتا ہے۔
