You know what? I’m tired of this. I do not know what exactly they are waiting for. I mean our government comes up with “reasons” to invade other countries, such as Syria, like their government is allegedly violating human rights or something like that. but… I mean for other countries, they do not even have to go deep to bomb the fuck out of this place, they can just look at our media. And this has been happening to people of color since the media has existed.

they think folks can both get a buyer for their shitty used 5+ year old smartphone which is already a pipe dream

BUT THEN on top of this they think folks can make enough money off of this mystical buyer to pay for all of their living needs.

and then they think nothing bad will happen to a poor person without a phone, as if this shit isn’t necessary for jobs or school, etc.

Buddy, I’m sorry but if this is something you actually think, then I struggle to believe you have financial competency of any kind.

if your advice to someone struggling financially is for them to sell their much needed tech for a fraction of the original price you should never open your mouth, because you have nothing important to say.

all public schools should provide clean water to their students, the fact that many knowingly don’t is child abuse.

portland oregon constantly has a lead problem in their school’s drinking water

detroit michigan constantly has lead problems in their school’s drinking water

and i could go on.

32 states were observed, including the District of Columbia, and 22 of them are failing to protect their kids from lead in the drinking water

this isn’t federally regulated, only 9 states [including D.C] have mandatory water testing laws in any capacity 

and the government obviously isn’t making any real move to jump on cleaning up drinking water for kids.

A Glasgow nightclub has installed a two-way mirror which allows male revellers in private booths to spy on unsuspecting women as they visit the toilet! With no notification or signage anywhere in the venue many female club goers have been left feeling embarrassed and used. Although they do briefly show the mirrors in a promo video, the club has been quickly deleting comments and posts on their social media from club goers trying to alert others to the situation. This is pretty much illegal and hugley violates privacy. Thank you The Shimmy Club for giving us a shiny, new, creative and cool take on objectification. article here
