Okay cool, so firstly I compared people to nazis here for specific reasons I've already explained, it's not just for the fact that radfems are people I disagree with, there are tons of groups who I disagree with and who I wouldn't make those comparisons to. These are reasons I've already explained, sometimes in the same posts that I made the comparisons in. If we want to ignore that or address those reason we can, but I'd appreciate if we didn't just lie and say that I made the comparisons because I just disagree with you lot.

The general beliefs of terfs / radfems is that trans people are not women, and prescribe legal and social discrimination against them, like denying medically reccomended treatments like puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgeries for them, discriminating against them interpersonally, fearing them as predators, wolves in sheep's clothing, who are here to sneak into women's spaces to rape and murder them. Which is all dehumanizing, and genocidal at times in the ways you do it.

You can look it up, it's a historical fact that minority groups of all kinds worked with the nazis, helped them rise to power, and were in their ranks. If being a member of the SS and aiding Hitler doesn't make you a nazi I don't know what could.

I don't believe in weaponizong the oppression of minority groups against them, even when they're evil and bad, which is why I didn't do that. The people I was responding to weren't, to my knowledge, disabled in any way. (To the extent that one doesn't consider insular far right communities mental illnesses but that's neither here nor there.) I was just using those terms as shorthand for stupid and crazy.

Like putting aside the fact that you don't think you can be interpersonally racist to white people, (Which I can only deal with so many layers of stupidity at once jfc) would you not make a distinction between calling a black person the n word and calling the confederate guy the n word? Like are those the same to you? Because that's how you're acting in ragrds to my use of the terms retard and schizo.

I don't understand why you would come to the conclusion that I don't sincerely care about these issues based solely on my use of slurs. Like even if all you were daying about it being ableist was true it still wouldn't make me not care about disabled people or especially trans people. There's no logical connection there, especially considering retard and schizo are common slang terms, whos most frequent use isn't to dispariage disabled people, but as I used them, as shorthand for poor character traits.

This is what I'm talking about when I say you people are just invoking ableism dishonestly to attack my character instead of my arguments.

I skimmed through it, and I did respond to at least some of the points, and that was the commentary I gave.

My mentions of the holocaust were completely reasonable I think, again, radfems, like you, I assume,(?) use genocidal rhetoric against trans people constantly. I could swap the nouns of a Hitler speech and a radfem teitter manifesto and no one would be able to tell the difference. It was also only after they brought up neo nazis, which was probably fair but still.

The woman is ableist, she wants discrimination against, and let's be totally real here, death to certain types of disabled people. And my point isn't that it's okay to be ableist to ableist people, it was that their invokation of ableism was not worth anything to me because they were being hypocritical, and only using it in bad faith to dispariage my character.

Maybe if a reasonable actor came in called me put for it I would take it somewhat seriously, but like I said I hold their accusation in the same regard as the southern confederate calling me racist. I also don't think calling people schizo or retarded is necessarily ableist?

I wasn't using it to invoke the oppression of neuroatypical people or physically disabled people, because to my knowledge none of the people who I used that language against were even disabled. I'm just using it as a shorthand for stupid and insane. Maybe that's ableist? I don't know but until someone can make that argument to me I'm gunna keep using it that way.

Why do you think it's true though? We all agree animal cruelty is wrong but why do you draw the line at mistreating them but not raping/murdering them for consumption?

It's not for any real nutritional benefits since we have to feed animals more nutrients than they provide us by eating them.

It's not like their not worth moral consideration, the animals we eat are very mich concious and intelligent. Pigs are actually smarter than dogs, and very friendly too.

I'm not even a vegan but I think it's wrong we eat animals and animal products.

This is all very true but I still think it's important to point out because the conservative narrative is that all homeless people are lazy criminal drug addicts and whatnot, and while that's not true, and wouldn't even excuse the fact that they're homeless, it still convinces a lot of people that homelessness doesn't need state based solutions, and that it's a personal problem.

i really really hate liberals who do volunteering for orgs that help the homeless and then write thinkpieces about how a lot of homeless people are very educated and hardworking and its not at all their fault that theyre unhoused like. even if ur hypothetical homeless person is addicted to every drug abused their whoever commited many crimes and their situation is every bit their fault. no one deserves to live on the street.
