Why do I feel confined?

As though I cannot move,

Not even to utter the words on my mind.

Why do I ALLOW myself to feel confined?

Know those around wish to hear, and embrace me.

Why does my mind trick me then?

Telling me that we’ll never be friends,

they could care less,

they just play pretend?

I do my best to push through,

make room, and even groom

myself to “FEEL” in the mood.

I brush my teeth, and my hair.

Put on the dress I love to wear.

Say yes to outings, and stop pouting.

Though something still is missing here.

Here inside my chest, a hole.

One that I’ve always known.

We talk to self to heal on our own,

but this hole remains even when I sew.

I ask for guidance and got the truth.

Now I don’t know what to do.

To run, to cry, or fall and lye

With this knowledge my soul cannot decide.

Stagnant I stand,

lost in my minds lands.

Where it seems I’m trapped

in slow pulling quick sand.

Decisions needed to make it out,

But all my choices lead to doubt.

I don’t NEED a relationship, I WANT one . Like I’m not looking for no one to complete me or make me whole or whatever . I just wanna fall deeply and unbelievably in love with someone . I want someone to never stop choosing me and actually try with me . I want affection and intimacy with someone I trust with my whole heart . I wanna experience something real for once .
