Din being denounced as a Mandalorian for taking off his helmet. Din blending Mandalorian and Jedi customs in regards to raising Grogu. Luke being the only person (besides Grogu) to have seen Din's face after taking off his helmet willingly in a non life-threatening situation... it's all gotta mean something, right... RIGHT

~some dinluke doodles that have been floating around the noodle~

First one is based off of @headcanonthings post that made me absolutely lose it and the others are from @swinging-through-the-stars amazing Howls Moving Castle AU, like seriously a galaxy-brained idea. The last one is referencing one of my favorite moments from Star Trek tos(under the cut if you'd like context lol)

So.... I drew a lot. Um. I knew I was gonna go fuck wild with the final illustrations for the final chapter but this was a bit... over the top. And yet. Got in a basic gif, a basic illustration (callback to the doodle from Chapter 3), 5 pages of comic panels, and a looping animation. Totally worth it. I am probably done with any serious drawing for a month (besides the one I promised to do that's a companion to Lightning Luke) but man. I am so glad for the opportunity.

Anyway. The final chapter of The Suns is now live and also features a ficmix.

Haha I wanted to make an alternative version of this comic since I thought that Luke was looking a lot like going in for a kiss and I love those posts and comics about Luke just bonking his head against the beskar…he only hurt his self esteem and Din is like, astral projecting while Boba and Fennec would be in the bg just witnessing it all

din: shows up at the jedi academy wielding the first mandalorian jedi's saber, driving a vintage royal naboo n-1 starfighter, helped liberate tatooine from the pyke syndicate... AND has a moustache

As irritated as I am with how The Book of Boba Fett is being handled, I'm also vibrating with so many thoughts and ideas and cannot draw fast enough. I also have a project with a looming deadline and also, uh, an entire fic to write, if you wanna know how bad I am at self-control.

This doodle came out of some very... spicy thoughts about the Naboo starfighter and negotiating tight spaces. I'm just horribly weak for sleek starships (looking at you, USS Enterprise).

I’ve got to say the scene where they fight the scorpion droids really made me realize how none of these people even remotely remember the clone wars except probably boba, black krrsantan and cad bane. Like everyone else is just fruitlessly shooting at the bad droideka reboots, but boba and krrsantan realizes they need to batter the shields and get in close. I sat there yelling because I realized no one had to fight droids. Not even Din because he was so young. They’re all so young 😭😭
