rip i feel really bad for getting people's hopes up but i was on my (10 minute) break at work when i saw this and didn't really look into it so i posted it under the false assumption that there was some IMA-related thing going on and after work when i looked into it, i found out that it was Jefferson/Matt/Tinz's wedding and that's why they were all together (sans Hamilton/Nick) i have no clue what's happening with IMA.

People are saying Hamilton is just a musical, it is just a show, it is just entertainment. People want their entertainment to be oblivious to politics and social issues and to “talk less, smile more”. People think it was wrong for the cast of Hamilton to directly address the VP-elect.

Well guess what. Hamilton is more than entertainment. It is a revolution. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t have broken so many records and won so many awards. Hamilton is no ordinary Broadway musical, folks. It is a historical story told with rap and hip-hop, told by the most diverse cast in America. Hamilton gave so many minority actors and actresses the chance to show their talents and skills without being discriminated against. And that is revolutionary.

If you only want entertainment, Hamilton is not the play for you. If you want to be in a movement that is so much bigger than yourself, Hamilton is the play for you.
