i made a post about this a while ago: how even though people often draw kaveh as howl bc his fashion sense is similar to movie howl, he would such a good match for book sofie personality-wise (outwardly stubborn and nagging to their housemate, tells the place needs to be cleaner even though the housemate is letting them live there for free, and also has lots of inner securities), and haitham/howl being the one who's really good at what they do but trying to appear incompetent so that they can avoid responsibility and a big job title (and also caring about their housemate more than they'll actually admit out loud)

in which kaveh is compelled to seek his fortune

i hath promised, and i hath delivered. yeah we're gonna get more kavetham interacting but i'm doing this in book chronological order okay :,) i'm sad too. and fuck i JUST noticed i forgot alhaitham's earring but whatever just imagine it's there

oh and @hrsshoe because you asked who michael is (we're going by book canon so michael, not markl), my hint is as follows: official dad of the quartet. glhf guessing

#i lost control of the tags whoopsie don't read all this #i feel like the hair they went with in the movie made sense for his character (styled hair with a flourish but very controlled with gel #just seems fitting for his “golden boy persona” (or I'm just making up connections that aren't there idk)) #but I also really like the braid here #it's a nice nod to his long hair in the comics #i feel like they could have kept his hair the same in the front and given him a bun #it would have given him the same controlled look but he could let his hair down to show when hes no longer playing the controlled persona #(like when he's with bal) #i keep hitting the word limit on these tags lol 😭 #ambrosius goldenloin #nimona movie
