FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS NORMAL ABOUT DEMETRIUS.... God the way people hate him so much for NO REASON is baffling to me and then they say things like "his relationship with Sebastian makes me hate him" yet, and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm like 90% sure Robin NEVER mentions maru by name or anything and I never hear A WORD about how Robin is evil. The double standards is nuts. Demetrius I will defend you to the DEATH

as an aside, from what i know (without looking at the files or anything, based on the wiki), robin mentions maru in one line

and it's not like people ever have any nuance or just a sorta dislike for some of demtrius stardewvalley's characterization. its always this loud vitriolic hatred for a guy who's biggest flaw is being a little weird about his kids. also he has autism swag and i really think that's fun but people focus so hard in on the negative with demetrius it's like. hmmm. to be a little offput by his cutscenes would be one thing but to loudly hate him is weird lol

precisely!!! i am very fond of demetrius (he is a fun friendly autistic scientist, he is dear to me), but he is not my favorite villager by any means, his writing could be better (the "sleep receptacle" comment is so goofy), i don't disagree with some of the comments about favoritism....but the "ewwww demetrius i hate demetrius he is the worst character" rhetoric makes me want to scream

no literally. just bc he and robin occasionally have tension bc hes more science brained than she is doesnt mean that they dont have a loving relationship? they dance and stand outside together and go to the bar together and clearly love each other! thats better than literally every other married couple in the game. i know its the racism but its insane to me

Eman's family is currently in danger!

Two weeks ago, the area to which Eman's family was displaced was bombed. As the war in Sudan rages, there is no where in the country they can go where they are safe. Eman's family has already lost their home, which was bombed while they were inside, martyring Eman's brother.

Due to the instability of Sudan's currency, the amount raised from this campaign so far is not nearly enough for them to leave Sudan. We have to raise more funds, and quickly.
