no one is required to be a “responsible adult” 100% of the time. there are plenty of aspects of adult life–finances, employment, housing, relationship negotiation, etc–where yeah, responsibility and maturity are very very important.
BUT. finding time to play, to be silly, to relax and be a bit ridiculous and indulge in childish joys–these are fundamental aspects of being human, at any age. being an adult doesn’t mean giving up the things that make you happy; ideally, it means you get to choose what happiness looks like to you.
yall look at this shit ad*be is tryna pull now on ppl who have outdated software:
(note for context: i’m all for piracy, but in this case my copy of CS6 was downloaded years ago when they were giving it away to students. i got it totally legally.)
Imagine an alien sharing a cool human fact they just learned like ”hey guys did you know that the silvery markings on humans actually aren’t true stripes? They’re called stretch marks, they happen when the human is growing fast enough to actually outgrow their skin, which is apparently something that just fucking happens to almost all of them at some point of their life.”
and another one is like ”wait so you’re saying humans don’t have stripes.”
”actually they do, but the stripes are invisible. There’s genetic code that’d give them stripes but they’re just the same colour as the rest of the skin. So the visible stripes are not real stripes and the real stripes are invisible.”
”I swear if you tell me one more weird human thing today I’m beating your ass.”
rb if you, like me, are the rare breed of internet user who always closes browser tabs that you dont need. like sorry your computer runs like shit maybe its because you have 50 fucking tabs open, cant relate
