Honestly I was a bit worried at how TimTams was gonna portray the scenes where he’s rallying the Fremen. If there’s one thing he can’t avoid, it’s him still sounding like a bro. But when those scenes happened I WAS THERE. I was IMMERSED.

I think ATLA LA can be an enjoyable experience. That’s why some people like it or can get pass the differences. And the breadcrumbs of new details can be neat. But looking beyond that, there’s a lot to critique. Like for me, the writing isn’t great but it’s passable enough for people. I guess it boils down to how much you care about those changes and those differences.

I can’t quite describe why I don’t like the writing for the dialogue in ATLA LA. At least in the first 2 eps so far. Is just kinda cringe overall.

God, Konami did not do a great job at the combat reveal for the remake. And I’m not one of those people who say that combat shouldn’t be emphasized because overall it’s a huge aspect of the og; especially if you’re going to modernize it. Like we know we’re gonna have to shoot and hit enemies but there’s no real display of how the system works. It didn’t help that it was a bunch of quick edits. Not the best thing to show off after months while also not having any commentary on the footage. And sorry, I have to compare it to Re4R reveal; now THAT’S how you do a combat reveal.
