I doubt I have any readers left, I have not posted anything in forever.
No one might read this, and that is okay, but If I don't tell someone I will explode.
It really is true that for some people every day is a rainy day, and those umbrellas seem hard to come by.
Lately I am walking around drenched, and no one even gives me a second glance.
My eyes are fading. Slowly, but surely. I am losing my eyesight and this is the slowest kind torture I have lived.
Lovely things are becoming blurry colours and it sounds beautiful, but in the most horrible tragic way.
I'd like to declare how lonely this is. Everyone knows, no one asks me anything.
I am tired.
I have to walk everywhere.
I live up a hill.
I can't find work.

I look at my poetry
And I apologize to it.
It has been waiting for happier words
But I don't know any.
Kind regards
Josephina

I am a high school speech coach in Sppirit Lake, Iowa (Northwest Iowa). I have a student who would like to use one or two of your poems for her forensics/speech contest. I am seeking permissible for her to do so. She would give you credit with the poems and would not alter them. One of the poems she wants to use is "Misunderstood". Thank you for considering this request. I'm not a Tumblr member so I'm hopeful you get this message. 712-330-4841
