I’ve been thinking of refining and working from my doodles more. I’d like to get to a point where a quick doodle idea could lead to a full composition, or work alongside it.

A few of my favourite museum sketchbook spreads. Though the problematic idea of the ‘cabinet of curiosity’ is rightly being questioned I still miss the serenity of drawing in an empty room full of ancient things.

A selection of lino prints. I've been planning a zine called HALT that I have sadly not had the time to work on for a while. My aim with it is to focus on the more sinister side of my work.

A few drawings I framed recently.
On the left a graphite drawing of Lindow Man - a northern bog body currently located at the British Museum.
And right is a graphite drawing from Meanwood Park.

Headingly early this year. I split it up for instagram and like how it looks in sections.
This drawing was tough in the icy weather. It got wet, smudged and creased by the wind, but I'm still proud of it.

Meanwood Park. I walk past this building all the time but only stopped to draw earlier this year. Met the gardener and one of the residents who gave me some nice history on the place.
