Let that sink in. I probably won’t get to see myself get married, have kids, then watch my kids grow up and get to grow old with my partner, just like any cis person like this would dream of. With a timer like that above our heads, how do you think we feel when someone who calls themselves a feminist say they would kill me because of how I identify? A feminist, someone who stands for equality, being at the same level of the people who gave us that lifespan? And you know what happens when trans people live with that on their shoulders, the fact that someone on the street can come up and kill them because they’re passing today, and the fact that it’s legal in a lot of countries? We kill ourselves.

This isn’t equality. This isn’t feminism. Feminism is about supporting everyone so women of all stories, shapes, and colors can have equal rights. You can’t cherrypick equality or else the universe will cherry-pick you out of it.
