Ok so, Bdubs isn’t normally a god, yeah? He just said he was one about five minutes after he joined empires. But these things work differently here than they do on Hermitcraft. You call yourself a king or a mayor or a bone mage and those things are real but only so much as you make them real. It’s a role, on Hermitcraft, and there’s external influences sure, but everyone knows it’s the same you under that title.

On Empires, it’s different. You construct a Vigil and you say it keeps track of everyone’s deaths and everyone believes it and so it’s true. You call yourself a butterfly princess and everyone believes it and so it’s true. You call yourself a god…..

Hey remember that time Eret tried to revive Wilbur and got pretty freakin close? Yeah so here's my alternate ending. The disc war finale felt like the natural conclusion of Tommy and Dream's arc to me, so I thought what if Dream died for good at that point, and Eret was the one to bring Wilbur back instead?

I think we as a society should talk more about how there is both a mural and a statue of Saint Pearl at the catacombs of the Ancient Capital, which implies that she was associated with death in some capacity by the people that once lived there. And how the world was obliterated by the moon when Pearl joined Hermitcraft. And how so many people died both around and by the hand of the Scarlet Pearl in Double Life. And how death just seems to follow everywhere she goes.

But we should also talk more about how she's associated with sunflowers, which are symbols of joy and devotion. About how Saint Pearl wears green, the color of life. About how she's portrayed with the wings of an angel.

Saint Pearl is the light that the dead go into. And I, for one, am never going to shut up about that.
