so apparently blizzard's being sued by the state of california for sexual harassment, unequal pay, and retaliation against female employees. apparently the sexual harassment was so bad that one female employee committed suicide. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/activision-blizzard-sued-by-california-over-frat-boy-culture
oh my god that’s genuinely so fucking horrific. It’s really irreparable how bad it seems like it was and how much it permeated into the highest levels of the entire company

[ SPOILER ] “Diel Fin’al Thalas” - Chapter 14
Jaina’s voice was soft, inquisitive. “Is the reason you haven’t slept in so long because you did not have anyone to share a bed with?” Because she could understand then why the idea of sleep would be off-putting to Sylvanas, and thus wished to avoid it.
“No, I— had Kyra,” Sylvanas admitted, which made sense; Kyra certainly seemed willing to do whatever Sylvanas needed to make her comfortable. The elf pushed herself off the wall she was leaning against, breaking eye contact as she spoke and walked. “She is big enough that it mimicked the weight I was used to. It was only once, as I needed to sleep but… could not, without others. Signe allowed her to do so as it was the only way I would rest, but I am sure she regrets that decision now, as it is the reason Kyra learned she enjoyed physical contact.”
“Oh,” Jaina realized, feeling a little useless in that regard now, considering… “If you prefer weight like that, then I am sure I was not a good substitute.”
The corners of Sylvanas’ mouth twitched as she began to lay out their armor. “You are… not small, Jaina.”
“I am not as big as Kyra!” Jaina protested, feeling strangely self-conscious suddenly even though she knew Sylvanas enjoyed her body. The woman was absolutely obsessed with her curves and was not subtle about it.
“No, you are not. I did not mean that to sound insulting; your size is… appealing to me, for a variety of reasons,” Sylvanas assured her, and the base of Jaina’s abdomen tightened as she pursed her lips, trying to ignore the feeling Sylvanas’ acknowledged attraction gave her. “Regardless, it is not necessarily the weight that I need; you were a sufficient sleeping companion, if you are concerned and need the reassurance.”
Jaina forced herself to roll her eyes, for her dignity’s sake. “I am not concerned.” It was then that she realized what Sylvanas was doing, and as she took a step forward she told her, “I can get my own armor, you do not have to—”
“I am already over here, and it takes minimal additional effort,” Sylvanas interrupted, as though the other woman’s protest was ridiculous, and perhaps it was. Still, Sylvanas had never done anything like that for her before, and it was then that Jaina was reminded of their conversation the night before, and how Sylvanas was ‘regretful’ about not being a good wife. Perhaps this was her attempt to rectify that— it was something small, but it showed that she thought about Jaina, and not just herself.
“Diel Fin’al Thalas” - Chapter 14 will be released Saturday, May 29th.

C H A P T E R  X I I
Jaina had known that sleeping with Sylvanas would make their relationship more complicated, but truthfully, she had not been prepared for the constant whiplash that came with being infuriated to the point of near-violence one minute, and then having very vivid fantasies of them expelling said frustration by roughly fucking against the nearest surface. Jaina almost asked once— well, almost demanded once, but thankfully she came to her senses before it escalated, and instead chose pettiness instead of violence or sex, and sewed up all the ear holes in Sylvanas’ hoods.
Sylvanas was not happy, and retaliated by rearranging all of Jaina’s books in the order of the Thalassian alphabet, before informing Jaina that she could do with improving her grasp on the language as it obviously hindered her in quite a lot of areas of her life now. It honestly wouldn’t have been as annoying if they hadn’t just moved to the now Blight-free ruins of Lordaeron, and if Jaina hadn’t just finished arranging her rather large collection of books the night before. Besides, she knew the Thalassian alphabet— she just did not know the proper “order”. She should have known something like this was going to happen though; Sylvanas grumbled incessantly about Jaina bringing “absolutely everything” that she owned. But considering they were going to spend the next handful of years there, it was as much of a home as any for Jaina at the moment, and she wanted to have all of her things.
Admittedly, the house they had chosen to inhabit was rather small— but it was the closest one to the heart of the city without having been completely brought to ruin by war and the Blight, and Jaina did not want to have to stay in the Undercity for a second longer than she had to. Restoring the castle and the rest of the city was going to take some time— years, really, and Jaina needed to get out of Dalaran. It was loud, crowded, filled with people who now distrusted or outright hated her, and Jaina could not stand the feeling of being watched any longer— especially now that she had vaulted over a line in her relationship with Sylvanas. If Greymane’s or Lor'themar’s or anyone’s spies found out, it would put into question not only her loyalty, but her ability to guard Sylvanas and oversee this project, which could cause it to fall apart before it ever really began. At least this way, it was it easier to spot those who wished to report on them as there were very few people going in and out of Lordaeron at the moment.
But that was also a problem, because that meant she and Sylvanas were completely alone for long periods of time now, and that gave them the room to behave a certain way around one another without having to be concerned about who may see and judge them for it. Jaina did not know how to stop sexually antagonizing her, truthfully— she had tried, as there were so many reasons why this was a bad idea, but playing this extended game of chicken with Sylvanas gave her the same, if not more of a high than it had before they slept together. It was a drug that Jaina found she could not quit.
So much for the forbidden fruit losing its appeal.

[ SPOILER ] “Diel Fin’al Thalas” - Chapter 11
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Sylvanas immediately pushed those thoughts away as she placed her elbow on the table, leaning back in her chair while she casually raised her arm. “I’m waiting for the part where you request that I do not tell anyone about this, and assure me that it will never happen again.”
Jaina exhaled a disbelieving scoff at her attitude, as Sylvanas’ tone left little to interpretation: she knew it would happen again and, despite herself, felt the need to goad Jaina about that a little, because frankly she could only be expected to play nice for so long. As, it seemed, so could Jaina, who ran her tongue behind her teeth before the edges of her lips curled and she turned to face the other woman fully. “I would really hope that you’d have enough sense to keep your bedroom activities with your wife to yourself, but perhaps I overestimated your respect of privacy.”
Sylvanas narrowed her eyes. Not that she had actually planned to say anything— she did not speak to anyone regularly save Jaina anymore and even if she did, she was not keen on spreading her business to others. Yet before Sylvanas could retort, Jaina had stepped closer to her, that little smirk at the edges of her lips widening as she placed her hands on either side of Sylvanas’ chair and leaned in much too close, her breath tickling the elf’s cold cheek.
“And you know as well as I that never is a very long time, and truthfully, I doubt you will be able to help yourself for very long.”
Sylvanas exhaled a short, breathy laugh before she turned her head, the proximity almost allowing their lips to come into contact with one another. Jaina did not move away, and the smirk on her face widened just a little bit more. She thought she had made her point.
She had not.
“You are, admittedly, very tempting when you are like this, but I think you severely underestimate my self-control,” Sylvanas breathed against her lips, lingering there momentarily before finally leaning back in the chair, taking herself out of the mage’s space. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked up at Jaina, her entire attitude shifting toward something more serious. “Besides, I’m not particularly fond of being your shameful coping-mechanism for whatever crisis of self you are experiencing right now. I know I was your latest mistake… perhaps you should take a moment and examine why you’re so eager to make another.”
Jaina exhaled an unhappy breath at the abrupt shift in tone as she pushed herself off the arms of the chair, straightening to full height. “Because it no longer matters what I do.”
“No?”
The bitterness in Jaina’s tone was evident. “No, because I practically have forever to rectify whatever mistakes I make now, apparently.”

I keep seing cute sylvaina stuff everywhere (yes Zelk and Lyadrielle I’m looking at you both) so…
Here are the first two page of a very short comic with the fascinating plot “will they smootch at the end?”  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) *and the oscar of the best scenario goes toooo…*
I have to draw more to get better at it, so why not do it while having some gay  fun? (…rhetorical question, that’s my whole tumblr in a nutshell)
Take care!
