PD101 Final Thoughts
I'm over all happy with the results because I was really rooting for Ha Sung Woon (I got so nervous around the 5th/4th place), and we ALLLLLL knew Kang Daniel was going to make the Top 11. What pissed me off was that MNET pushed their Ha Sung Woon narrative WAY too late in the game, and completely robbed him of the screen time and attention he deserved. Also, to be honest I wasn't a huge fan of Lai Guan Lin (love my MMO and Ardor & Able boys). MNET pushed that narrative way too hard, and they hurt other trainees too in the process.
As for everyone's shock and disappointment about Jong Hyun...I think he became significantly more restrained towards the later episodes. He really stood out during the re-evaluations and during the first two performances, but after he placed 1st, I noticed that he began to hold back more. Maybe even because he didn't want to attract the (inevitable) criticism of having been a NU'EST member, and one of the trainees that have already debuted succeeding because of their fan base. He was so kind hearted and responsible as a leader that part of me also wants to think that he wanted the other trainees to have an opportunity to debut. He really succeeded in bring NU'EST back to people's attention, and to a certain extent I think that was enough. And now NU’EST is planning on a come back so let’s show them extra love then (same to Hotshot!).
*Afterthought: can we all take a moment to appreciate the genuine friendship between Noh Tae Hyun (MNET ruined everything for him) and Ha Sung Woon? I CRIED WHEN I SAW NOH TAE HYUN CRY.

Dear Goblin, Thank You
*Spoiler Alert*
Finished watching episode 16 last night, and I can honestly say that I have never been so entranced by a drama before.
Everything was perfect. The cast, story, cinematography, locations, wardrobe, and more.
For the first time in a while I was excited to sit down every Friday and Saturday for a new episode. I rewatched and rewinded every previous episode because I simply couldn’t get enough.
I became more enamored with Kim Go Eun and her ability to adapt to any role, and I found myself falling for Gong Yoo all over again.
My heart was broken and healed with every episode, and I have never been so emotionally invested in a drama before.
I wanted a different ending because for a second I felt that sliver of pure happiness Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak had, but the ending was fitting. If it had ended with them living happily ever after, then we would be left wondering what happens when Ji Eun Tak dies, or ages. Instead we’re left with the open possibility of their future together in her other lives.
So, to the lonely and powerful guardian, Goblin, I thank you for keeping me company these past few weeks, and I can’t wait to see this drama reap all the awards at the end of the year shows.
