Cyborg technology defecting causing Vic to act out and reader has to calm him down?

I wrote this a few days and debated about posting it but I’m really proud of this one. 

It was a quiet day in the Hall of Justice. The league had their daily debrief meeting. Barry devoured the pizza Alfred bought for the team (and stole Bruce’s slice while he wasn’t looking). Weekly training was off to a pretty solid start too. You had held your own with Diana for a while but she is a warrior princess for a reason. Barry didn’t stand a chance against Clark but the speedster tried his best. The last match up was between Victor and Arthur. It was the first time the two had ever gone up against each other in training so everyone was interested in how this one was going to go. 

All was going well to start but things went down hill fast. Arthur had cornered Vic and something went wrong with his machinery. Because Vic’s weapons are stronger than pretty much everyone on the team, it had been decided that full weapons weren’t allowed in combat training for the very scenario that was occurring now. Vic was trying his best to control it but it was evident that he was having trouble. 

Everyone was yelling, trying to calm him down but nothing seemed to work. Finally your voice broke through all the noise and Vic looked in your direction. 

“Vic, I need you to breathe and keep your eyes on me. You’re stronger than anyone I know and you are stronger than the machine. You can control it and I believe in you.”

His glowing red eye went in and out of focus but you could tell that Vic’s breathing was starting to even out. You left your post in the control room and entered the combat area. Arthur tried waving you down but you ignored him. 

“It’s okay Vic”, you said holding your hand out. 

His body was still twitching but he was calming down. 

“Just keep talking”, he huffed out, still trying to bring his arm cannon down.

You went on about the movie the two of you had watched last night and how Vic had made you dinner even though he doesn’t need to eat anymore. You recounted the day the two of you met and how no matter what, he’d always be Vic Stone to you. You talked until you were kneeling in front of him and placing your hands on his shoulder. His metal muscle relaxed at your touch and Vic could finally breathe. He semi collapsed in your arms and you just held him as he gathered his composure.

“Thank you (Y/N).”

I really hate to make a big deal out of this but we worked hard on these stories and to just post them without permission is just wrong. Giving credit is nice but still you shouldn’t post someone else’s work without their permission.

People on Wattpad anger me so much…. So I found this book to read with Justice League imagines. The account, zlajas, has put stories from Tumblr and yes they gave credit, but Idk if they asked the owners. So I’m going to tag these people and inform them about it cause it’s not write at all if they weren’t asked. If they did ask and you Agreed then its fine, but I felt I should tell you in case. @thatprofessionalfangirl @tgwltw @justicewriting @ramblings-and-obsessions So I have told you guys and my conscious is clear.

Uhhhh as nice as the gesture is, I would prefer to be asked first before posting my stories somewhere else. Feels a bit like stealing (again, the gesture is nice) I don’t even have a Wattpad so idk how to rectify that
