Jenna looked down at Drew doing her best to keep a smile on her face and trying not to have any more tears from falling from her eyes, she wasn’t sure if it was a sign of happiness that he was actually awake or not dead or some hint of sadness that she couldn’t pick up on.  “Good, because you scared the hell out of me,” She said with a slight laugh following afterwards, admitting to him how she was feeling without going on a tangent or having a temper, to be honest she was kind of proud of herself for not yelling because she was most definitely tempted to but didn’t want to cause a huge uproar in the hospital, and besides, she was trying to be a better person anyways.

As Audra walked out of the room she bit her lip because Jenna knew that he’d want to talk about this but she’d have to keep as calm as she possibly could in this situation. She looked down at their hands which were now locked together, assuming that this was going to be more serious than she thought but she was going to hear him out; he at least needed a chance to explain himself. Jenna nodded, “Yeah, I understand where you’re coming from, I just don’t understand why you lied to me, that’s only part that I’m mad about. If you lie to me about something like this then I don’t know what else you might lie about and that’s what scares me.” The girl admitted to him truthfully. She sat down waiting for him to try and explain himself more. “It’s what I’m here for,” She said and then shrugged her shoulders, acting like it wasn’t a big deal, which to her it wasn’t but to Drew it was. Jenna had a huge blush on her cheeks and a little laugh following afterwards, “Thank you.” She said not sure if she should say it back yet, “Um, I would say it back but um… I don’t wanna move too fast okay?” 

State of Grace || Drenna

Drew overheard some talking while he was unconscious. It pained him to hear there was a change he wouldn’t wake up, but there was a bright side. The people that he heard believe in him helped him out. He could over hear the doctor talking about it. Once he woke up and saw his family and Jenna he felt relieved that it wasn’t Vince or his gang members. That’s something he feared about opening his eyes. After apologizing to Jenna he was a little surprised to hear her say they’ll talk later. He expected anger not happiness. Drew reached his hand up and wiped Jenna’s tear away. “I’ll never do that again. I shouldn’t have did what I did or lied about it. At least I made it through.” He said smiling at her and then looking at his family.

Hearing Audra’s words made Drew smile even bigger. She never really liked any of his girlfriends before, expect Katie, he knew she’d love Jenna though. “Hey mom could you do me a favor and give me and Jenna some alone time. I need to talk to her about something.” She nodded and took herself and Adam out of the room. Drew turned to face his girlfriend once more before locking their fingers together. “I know we said we’d talk later, but I think we should now.. I know what I did was stupid and that I should not have lied to you. I just thought I was doing the right thing by meeting up with him. I thought it would end everything between him and my friends, but I think this was this plan from the start. I should have told you what I was doing and I’m really sorry for doing that.” Drew said lowly.

Patting a spot on the bed Drew raised his bed up a little to look at her better. “I’m so luck to have to you. I don’t think most girls would have stuck around like you did. I’ve wanted to tell you this for a little bit now and I think this is a good time to tell you. I love you, Jenna Marie Middleton.” Drew said smiling.

Dear Drew, 

Okay so you're probably passed out right now because all you've been doing is sleeping, which is totally okay given the circumstances... but I need you to wake up soon for me, okay? All right well we've been dating for a good two weeks now and that makes me so happy. I know we haven't been too much yet, minus the whole shooting because that's kind of a big deal, but that's okay because I like you a lot and we'll get through anything together. I've been here everyday, even though you've been sleeping, just waiting for you to wake up so I can spend just a few minutes with you. All right now I'm just rambling but I can't wait for you to get the hell outta here so we can go back to our tree again because that was perfect. Come home soon so we can have a perfect infinity! <3
