Okay, well, I think I’ve seen enough biphobia floating on my dash both out here and on Twitter, so here’s a friendly not so friendly reminder:

bisexual peeps don’t owe you jack shit when it comes to who they’re dating.

(or ever, really)

To be clear, if I, as a bisexual woman, decide to date a man, that doesn’t fucking mean I’m less bisexual than if I was dating a woman, as far as the ordinary person is concerned. And I’m sick and tired of seeing people requesting bisexual peeps to justify their sexuality because fucking Janet and Karen decided that being bisexual was determined by your ratio of same-gender relationships vs opposite-gender relationships.

I’m still bisexual if I date a man. And I’m still bisexual if I date a woman tomorrow. Hell, I’m bisexual even if I’m single. Your sexuality isn’t defined based on your dating history, for fuck’s sake. 

It’s 2021, use fucking Google, educate yourselves, but stop coming at bi peeps thinking they owe you ANY FUCKING THING.
