DO NOT GRAB MY JEWELRY: A story about petty revenge
Yesterday, my friend offered to do a photoshoot for fun and the plan was for us to grab pizza in downtown and then go to a nearby park for the shoot itself. So we went to the park and my friend lugged basically her entire set with her and I went straight in my costume as [Madoka](http://images.puella-magi.net/e/e5/Madoka_Kaname_Anime_Design.jpg?20110119211053) from Madoka Magica.
There were a lot of kids at the playground in the park yesterday so we spent around the first 20 minutes asking kids to be careful around the set/asking their parents to make sure their kids didn't enter the set. But there was this one kid (around 6 or 7 maybe?) that totally disregarded us asking him over and over to not knock my friend's stuff over and to make matters worse, his mother just yakked away on her cell phone and made bad excuses like "Oh, he's just a kid." or "He just curious."
Finally the kid knocked down one of my friend's light reflectors and I told her to let him onto the set. I let the kid touch my costume and stuff and soon it became really obvious that he was aiming for my Soul Gem (the gem that's dangling from Madoka's ribbon) because it's shiny or something.
The Soul Gem is basically the magical girl's life and if it's removed from her, she dies, and the kid had more than likely watched Madoka Magica since he recognized me right away and knew how Madoka was supposed to act, talk, etc. So I waited for this kid to grab my gem and (as expected) he pulled it off my choker. Right as he pulled it off, I collapsed on the ground and played dead. It really freaked him out and he ran back to the playground crying.
Unfortunately for us, we had to stop the shoot since he tore my choker when he ripped the Soul Gem off, but my friend and I had a good laugh. Although I do have to say that I'm really happy that all those years of theater finally paid off.
TL;DR:Ruin my photoshoot and I will ruin your life.

Fanime 2013 Day 2 (May 25th) (part 1)
We got to the con at 10 and ran straight to the dealer's hall. The dealer's hall is much smaller than the one at the Anime Expo. It's only about 1/4th of the size at the AX. There were a lot more people today. I picked up an alpaca and an Inori Nendoroid at the dealer's hall.

Fanime 2013 Day 1 (May 24th)
We all met up at Khoa/Danbo's house before leaving. We were going to leave at 4:30, but costuming problems delayed it until 6! Most of the day was spent waiting in to get our badges. The staff members weren't the most helpful when we got lost, but one of the members was really nice and practically walked us to the pre-reg line. It took us ~3 hours to get our badges.
Danbo made good use of the time and slept.
Amazingly awesome Iron Man cosplayer!
By the time we got out of line, it was 9 PM and the dealer's hall and artist alley were closed, so all that was left were the cosplayers, Stage Zero, the swap meet/second-hand sale and the game room. Everything at the swap meet was really overpriced! For example, the cheapest Inori Nendoroid at the swap meet was $80, but I got the exact same Nendo at the dealer's hall for $40.

Honolulu 2013 (part 2)
Hotel!
I stayed at the Kahala this time and it's GORGEOUS! It was also as expensive as hell but well worth it.
View from one of the balconies. That's right, one of the balconies. We got a one-room ocean front suite and it still has 2 balconies.
View from the other balcony. We got a really good view of the dolphin lagoon from our room as we were right above it. The dolphins are so cute~ (*´∀`*)

Living room/sitting area/whatever. I slept on the couch behind the lamp since it has a fold-out bed too.
Not even half of the master bathroom. Doesn't show: 2 closets, giant-ass shower, storage cabinet with fridge, and huge towel cabinet.
Weird toilet.
Upon examination, it's actually a washlet! ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ
There's a coffee machine and the coffee is free! It was a major plus for me because I love coffee. (*/ω＼*)
There was a beautiful tapestry hanging near the doorway of pretty coral shells~

Honolulu 2013 (part 1)
Planes in SFO. There was an interesting art display that I (unfortunately) didn't get any pictures of.
Picture of the plane from the terminal. This flight was a mess. My mom had booked the flight with Expedia and chosen the seats during the booking, but Expedia ended up scattering our seats all over the plane. My family would prefer to stay together during travel, so we tried to contact Expedia but they wouldn't change the seating back. We ended up having to contact United directly to get our seats back. DO NOT USE EXPEDIA.

Sat on the plane for 5 hours and 45 mins. The weather in Hawaii was beautiful when we got there. It was super sunny, but it wasn't too hot. (●´∀｀●)
