Sakaguchi Ango, the “lack of identity from having to constantly keep check of what he’s doing and who he’s spying on and how to keep from forming attachments” motherfcker, the “betrayed the only people who could’ve truly loved him because they met in these brief lapses inbetween their inevitable fates where they could truly just relax and be with each other” bitch, the “stuck with the ability to relive memories so he is both drowning in other people’s histories further alienating him from himself but he also has to relive having to cut out the only true thing he’s ever had” piece of shit, the “Still cares for Dazai and Oda, years down the line, still helps Dazai and the ADA using a Port Mafia communication technique even though Dazai nearly killed him because Ango knows the bomb was planted because of his role and its a violent action done out of Dazai losing someone he loved because sometimes violence is the only love they can share, and yet they both loved Oda so much he knows that helping Dazai and the ADA would be what Oda would’ve truly wanted” trashbag, the–

i love classic literature because the protagonist is always like "my fiancée is a good woman from a respectable family. but my best friend williams. he is the other half of my soul. i would do anything for him. he is the anchor that holds me down in the midst of a thunderstorm. he is the gentle sunshine at the break of drawn, reminding me that there are things to cherish in life. he is the fire that warms my soul. he understands me like no other. every time i see his slender hands and his flushed cheeks, i feel things i have never felt before. the woman he falls in love with would be the luckiest person in the entire world."

Freddie Lounds:
recognised a very specific brand of hostility in Will, which made her sense that Will might be the murderer
figured out that Abigail killed Nicholas Boyle
probably the first (besides Hannibal and Will themselves) realized how unusual relationship between Will and Hannibal is (and almost died because of it)
called Hannibal and Will “murder husbands”
Bonus quote:
“I think people hate Freddie because she tells the truth. But it’s like ‘if you don’t want me to call you Murder Husbands, stop being Murder Husbands!’” — Lara Jean Chorostecki when asked whether or not Freddie pronounced Will and Hannibal Murder Husbands just to spite them

ENOUGH!
today i'm thinking about how asagiri made it clear that sskk did not have the same trust between them that skk has. and yet, when atsushi meets akutagawa again (post-vampirism) his first thought is to try and get him to snap out of it by saying stuff like “it's me” or “i know you're still in there,” because he's so certain that akutagawa wouldn't break his promise.
it's so clear from this that after everything they've been through, atsushi implicitly trusts akutagawa. he trusts that he'll keep his promise— that he didn't kill aya, and that he won't kill him. he places every ounce of desperate trust that he can into the man he once considered his rival, and he pays for it with his limbs, but even so he can't bring himself to hurt him or even fight back and basically shin soukoku are the perfect greek tragedy.
