✎ a/n: this was so rushed and bad but i couldn't get myself to finish my literally two pending requests so j had to quickly write something so i can upload today AHAHA so here's an oikawa for y'all. it's the time of the month so i'm currently feeling really attached to oikawa right now:)

oikawa insisted that you should hang out with him since it's monday which means he has no practice for today. he knows that you still would visit him on the weekend but he made a valid point by saying, "at least we have more days in each other's company!"

and there you are, sitting on the couch while oikawa rests his head on your lap as he scrolls through his phone, subconsciously humming your favorite songs while you were busy parting his bangs to expose his forehead so you have more space to leave kisses on.

you never really thought that you would get in a serious relationship with someone; let alone with a person who's painfully popular not just in your school but in the whole miyagi prefecture.

but that didn't bother you that much— well, it still definitely rubs you off the wrong way whenever you see a flock of girls smothering your boyfriend whenever they get the chance. but rest assured that tooru would shower you with words of affirmation once you two are alone. he just simply would not ignore the uneasiness you could have felt watching others pour out their hearts for him.

oikawa noticed that you stopped with whatever you were doing, "y/n? you okay?" you snapped out of your daze and focused your gaze at him and nodded as a response.

"are you getting bored? we can do anything you want~" he said, bringing his hand up to pinch your cheeks lightly which made him have his infectious smile etch on his face and you couldn't help but to smile as well.

"i'm not. do you wanna do anything?"

"nope," he answers and that's when another wave of comfortable silence engulfed the room.

not until he decided to bring up something,

"will you leave me?" the question caught you off guard but you were quick to utter a response.

"of course not!" you defensively said— and probably a little bit louder than you had initially planned.

oikawa chuckles, reaching out for your hand and placing it on his cheek, "cute." he whispers, leaning into your touch to feel the warmth of your palms even more.

you retracted your hand away as soon as he let go and unconsciously inhaled sharply, "will you leave me?" you asked back after a few seconds, voice low with uncertainty laced within.

he slowly got up from his position and sat beside you, holding onto your shoulders to make you face his direction. "baby, no." he answered softly.

oikawa is too observant for his own good and the way your eyes glinted with sadness instead of the usual sparks of excitement failed to go unnoticed by him.

"you looked worried when you asked, are you okay?" he was genuinely concerned despite him asking the same question but it was different when you said it.

the difference was obvious— his was lighthearted and you were aware of that but yours seemed more serious.

"you do know that i'd choose you over anyone and anything, right?" he cradled your head, gently leading it to his chest as he hugged you tightly.

"y/n, i know it's difficult to not doubt yourself and i also don't want to assume what made you think that. but i am certain of one thing and that is whatever negativity you're thinking about right now won't happen, never." he huffs, kissing your head.

"i didn't even say anything," you jokingly said, breaking away from the hug but his grip on you never left.

"yeah, whatever. just— please, love. stop thinking of scenarios that might happen in the future and start focusing on the present and do things to prevent bad stuff from occurring, yeah? easier said than done, i know. but gosh, y/n, you're not alone in this relationship, aren't you? we are together in this, cheer up." he cupped your cheeks and kissed the tip of your nose causing you to giggle.

"thank you so much, tooru." you sincerely mumbled.

"i love you— maybe a little bit too much but that doesn't matter." he laughs, pulling you again for another hug.

✎ a/n: aahh this came out late and it was rushed, sorrryy:(

exactly four years ago, kuroo surprised you for your anniversary by saving enough money to build a house for the both of you to live in. everyday, kuroo would mention how he regrets not taking a picture of your reaction because to him, it was priceless.

"oh, you're already up?" kuroo yawned and stretched out his arm to snake it around your waist and pull you closer to him.

you smiled softly, "yeah, i was about to cook breakfast for us." and just on time, you heard your husband's stomach growl, earning a laugh from the both of you while he rubs his tummy with his other hand.

"i'll help you cook," he uttered under his breath after yawning for the last time and proceeded to the bathroom and you trailed behind.

"do you have work today?" you asked, holding two toothbrushes and giving him his while he holds the toothpaste in his hand and squeezed the right amount to put on your toothbrush.

"i took a day off so we could spend time together." he replied.

after doing your usual morning routine along with him, the two of you headed to the kitchen. you prepared the ingredients while he takes out plates and utensils.

you refused to believe that kuroo would actually help as he just hugs you from the back every time he sees you cook,

and that's exactly what has doing at the moment.

"tetsu, i need to be able to move around freely." you said, a sigh following after when you felt his grip loosen, indicating that he still has no intentions of letting you go.

even before marriage, kuroo can't keep his hands to himself. he would literally not be seen not touching you for more than an hour. when he has practice, he would immediately run to your direction and hug you whenever they're on a break.

outside of school or your house, he would always have his hand on your back to guide you.

kuroo started to become even more responsible when you two started working— in fact, he insisted to not let you do anything at all as he could take care of it but you refused and he respected that. although it makes him sad seeing you not home before him, he still would be so proud of how far you've come.

"can you please grab the salt for me?" kuroo snapped out his trance and looked at struggling to reach the salt. with a low chuckle, he removed his one arm from your figure and grabbed the small bottle effortlessly and handed it to you.

"i think we should start placing the important stuff on a lower shelf or anywhere as long as i can reach it." you suggested but he was quick to say a 'nope'.

"this is why i'm here, your husband, to help you out." despite not seeing him properly, you just know that he has a smug look on his face.

as soon as kuroo noticed that you turned off the stove, he momentarily let go and offered you to just sit down and he'll bring the food.

another thing that he likes doing is to sit beside you instead of sitting across. his reasoning was because he could rest his head on top of yours whenever he wants to, and it's easier for him to hold your hand after eating.

"love, have you ever thought of having a mini-us?" he questions, making you choke on your food.

"sorry, did i catch you off guard?" he pouts a little, still rubbing circles on your back as you chug down water.

"yeah— but i certainly don't mind having... err, a baby?"

"why do you sound so hesitant?" he teased, playfully pinching your cheeks that were starting to warm up from embarrassment.

"no reason, i'm just doubtful that i'd do a great job being a mother, you know?" he nodded at your statement understanding but he didn't want you to think that way so he held your hands firmly, slightly squeezing them as a reassurance.

"i am more than sure that you'll be the best mother paired with the best father," he winked. "but i think it's obvious that i am the favorite parent— ouch!" he hissed when you stepped on his foot purposely.

"in all seriousness, i'll make sure to give our daughter the best life," he leaned closer to press a kiss on your forehead.

"daughter?" you echoed when he pulled away.

"yeah, i want a little girl." he smiled at the thought.

"it doesn't work that way, tetsu." you sigh.

he raised a brow, "it works that way, love. you just gotta believe it."
