SatBK Week 2023 Day 3: Sword

I am so late for posting this for the prompt list. I put so much unnecessary detail in this cause this was my first time rendering armor. But I had lots of fun drawing this in general.

Hi! I just found one of your fics on ao3 and really liked it. It is your fic fair winds and rolling seas. I know it is old and I don’t know if you plan to finish it and am ABSOLUTELY not here to ask about that since that is not my business. I just wanted to let you know here how much fun I had reading what you’ve written! I don’t know if you still check comments on ao3 which is why i wanted to pop in and leave something on your tumblr too. I am the commenter froglegs on ao3. I’ll have to check if you’ve written other works as I really enjoyed your writing. I can’t believe FWARS was 50k words with only eight chapters, it’s very impressive. 😅 i aspire to be able to write like that. Even if FWARS will not be finished theorizing about it has given me enough entertainment lmao. Thank you for sharing your works

oh my gosh!!! I saw this and went back to read your comment. Your words are so kind thank you!! Honestly I forget sometimes that even if a fic can sit collecting dust for so long, someone will still find it and fall in love with it.

This might be hard to believe, but I do in fact still plan to finish that fic. It suffered from a lot of stuff happening in my life while I was writing it, but much has changed(read: improved) since then. My plan right now is to completely rewrite the outline and ending I had planned as I have been writing and improving my skill so much since then and want to give readers the best of myself while also allowing myself to write a story that will be healthier(read: shorter) for me to write.

I tend to worry and doubt that anyone would care if I finally did start on this passion project of mine again but comments and messages like this keep me hopeful! I look forward to getting back on the FWAFS horse again and hopefully giving readers something that was worth the wait!!! <3
