Biography

She was made of sweet cherry blossoms and of juicy summer peaches. At least that was what her doting father always told her. Born as a Faerie, Charlotte never had true interest in a life in her own realm. She somehow managed to stand out from the rest, her unique personality and devious looks making her look like a lost soul in a loud crowd of other Faeries. When everyone lived indulging in beauty and serenity around them, she danced, lost in her own world. She had dreamed of a life far away from everyone she knew, of adventure, of love, of pain and desire. Her parents didn’t oppose her choices, they had three more children that could and did fit in. But there was something about Charlotte that they knew was different from the moment she was born. And maybe, that was why when she came of age, she ended up traveling to Kadeu only  to not return. And maybe, the fact that she had caught his eye so easily, made things even more complicated or as easiest as they had ever been. Life in Kadeu was new and exciting, she struggled at first to understand how it all worked, and to this day, she hardly can find acceptance in the views of others. Many highrankers find solace in her embrace, in her company and beauty and she has earned their respect by always landing an understanding ear and not judging or talking much of her own opinions in return. It was hard for her parents to make sense of her choices, they don’t judge but they do struggled to this day to understand. Sometimes, her mother asks her to return but also, she knows her daughter would be better off where she lives now.

All she wanted was attention and freedom to explore this new realm she had entered, using her skills to use, she decided to have fun with it. But, deep down, she knew better than anyone that she stayed for him. A simple job search around Kadeu turned into a messy, toxic, frustrating yet powerful union between two souls. But Charlotte had no regrets, only love, care and joy she had begun to experience for the first time in her life. He showed her the world, even if that meant she’d had to dance for a living, pleasuring the Kadeu citizens with her mesmerizing looks and that was exactly what made her his and the club’s favorite. Everyone wanted to see her, everyone wanted to have a taste of her. But all Charlotte wanted to do was see him, be close to him and have a taste of him, addicted to every part of his being. But, rules were set and they were simple; one can’t really touch what doesn’t belong to them.

Personality

Strong-willed, independent and stubborn, Charlotte is always looking for her newest adventure. Before meeting her lover and sponsor, she was obsessed with seeking her freedom, away from the confinements of her own realm but now, she is obsessed with him and him only. He has her wrapped around his finger and she accepts it willingly and loves every bit of it.

King of Hearts Kwon Markus is hosting a bacchanal in honor of his life partner, King of Hearts Kwon Sungho, turning an even one hundred. Though he did his best to keep this party on the down-low, Markus invited quite a few people.

Hosted inside the Kwon Mansion, the majority of this party will take place in their ballroom though there is also a garden with a small hedge maze that is open for guests to peruse.

this might be a dumb question, but is there anything special one would have to keep in mind if they were making a muse that's part of the resistance? and although i myself am trans masculine and see no issue with it (considering the general lack of resources, mostly) how does the main feel about, for example, a cis male fc for a trans dude oc? sorry for the bother, but this rp looks SUPER neat and i wanted to be clear on it all!

Hello anon; these are totally not dumb questions at all, and thank you so much for the compliment! There’s nothing in particular that comes to mind when I think about our resistance members but I’ll list some general thoughts and ideas below:

Resistance members are split into two groups. Muses like @junganton who live in resistance hideouts and are largely supported by the resistance; and muses like @kadeuxhyeonju who have lives outside of the movement. Hyeonju owns the Vega Gem and has a substantial presence in highranker circles while Anton is more of a shadow the resistance sends out whenever they need to

The majority of the resistance is comprised of lowrankers or those that hold a grudge against how Kadeu is run. Members who try to join without a clear reason would be kept in the dark for a long time due to inherent distrust

It is more likely for resistance members to be defectors than it is for regular citizens. If the leaders need someone with an unknown face at a Jack rank, they’ll likely ask someone to defect to the Clubs and then either train them or have another member lose to them on purpose to raise their rank

It is more likely for resistance members to be falserankers. Again, this pertains mostly to those in the Club faction but they may have their more skilled fighters lose to a lower rank on purpose in order for them not to stand out. Anton is a falseranker, he was at the Queen rank before the resistance made him lose to a Seven

The resistance foothold in Spade territory is almost non-existent. Many of the ideals the Spades uphold are in-line with the Resistance

Also, I’m fine with a cis male faceclaim being used for a transgender muse!

couple of club rank questions! 1.) does the ranking system still work the same way beating those outside their faction, like if they fight in the spade arena? 2.) how thoroughly do they have to defeat someone for it to "count"? i assume they don't have to straight up do a murder but would friendly sparring make a difference or nah? thnx! ♡

❤️ Great questions! 

1.) The ranking system does work the same way outside of their own faction, it even works against people from different factions though earning rank this way is largely frowned upon. Many of the fighters that sign up for the Spade Arena are Club Highrankers looking to increase rank ( and show off )

2.) The defeated party has to accept they've been defeated or be unable to continue fighting. It should be noted they also have to accept they are IN a fight for the system to consider the match started. Example: if a Jack clapped a Nine on the back in a friendly way they would not be considered to be fighting. If a Club got mugged but didn't consider it a fight, only a robbery, the system would not count it

This can also go as far as getting beat up: if the bullied party thinks of the incident as bullying or that they never had a chance to win to begin with, and they never fought back, the system will not change their rank nor their attackers

The Club ranking system is the easiest to exploit but it would be very rare for a Club to do so. Because they are a faction founded on community and honor they will go out of their way to fix someone's rank if it was believed to be unjustly gained or an inaccurate reflection of their strength

THE DECK  —

Despite the large manabeast taking out a section of Kadeu’s outer wall in Club Territory, thanks to great efforts from HIM the barbarian the wall was repaired before the end of August! Good thing too, with all the small-scale skirmishes between low and highrankers that have been popping up over the city, the last thing we need is trouble from the outside.

This week at The Palace;

The Palace in Diamond’s theatre district will be preforming Wicked twice a day every day for the next two weeks! Matinee performances start at 15:00 and evening performances are at 20:00.

Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends, Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Galinda (whose name later changes to Glinda the Good Witch), who struggle through opposing personalities and viewpoints, rivalry over the same love-interest, reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government, and, ultimately, Elphaba's private fall from grace.

This play was amazing, definitely a must-see! Queen of Diamonds @ara-kadeu who plays Elphaba during the evening performances Wednesday through Sunday night is this reporters personal favorite. If you go on those nights you’ll also have the pleasure of seeing @kadeuyongsun give an excellent performance as The Wizard!

Sunday the 23rd;

Art exhibit at the Joker and the Forge! @nerenth and @allorekadeu have been invited to showcase some of their sculptures. @hilo--keahi and the other blacksmiths at the Forge are expected to put up their best wares. Actors from the Palace like @kadeuyongsun and @ara-kadeu have also been invited to put on solo performances of either singing or one-person shows! It’s rumored @kadeukarma has also been invited to sing.

Biography

Valentina was a demon, born to a pair of demons that decided to never go to Earth, finding their world was enough for them at the time. However, Valentina wanted to go to where she felt the chaos was, where there was bloodshed. Earth. One of the oldest around now. It was over thousands of years ago that she arrived on Earth from her realm, taking on a male form. She soon found out this was not her taste and once that vessel died she started choosing women only. Women with ethereal beauty that was unmatched. She needed to look the part of who she knew she was. More than a demon she was basically a god. Arriving when Kadeu was still a Kingdom and had yet to split, before the ranks. It had been about 100 years when the King marked everyone with ranks. Being a demon with many contracts, Valnetina was a high rank already, but not high enough.

Having been on Earth as long as she has she has grown use to the system and was even part of the founders for the Academy. Taking over an area she wanted complete control of: Drugs.

When Valentina became a part of the Academy when she was in male form, when it may have mattered that she was, she started controlling the drugs, stating it was to make sure it was…well controlled. However it was more than that to Valentina, it was it’s own kingdom in itself and she’d placed herself as the kingpin, gaining an Ace status quickly. She knew she would get it of course, having powerful contracts and being at the top of the food chain. She was the god. However, being in small female bodies, her fighting skills have gone down. In the past she was known as the bloody Valentine. 

A demons lust for blood never fully goes away.

Personality

Being the Kingpin, the Drug Lord Ace of Diamonds, Valentina is cruel. She won’t listen to what others have to say, she’s been here as one of the longest, she knows better than they do anyway. Not fearing losing he spot to anyone, having been in her position over 2000 years at this point.

However having been the goddess she knew she was can get a bit boring. With the rebels starting she now had someone to fight, to beat back into the dirt until they are left in a bloody pool. How dare lower ranks think they deserve as much as the higher ranks, they weren’t worth shit. Valentina is preparing for war, and she had no doubt she will always win. Currently looking for a new contract for the first time in 1000 years, she wants all the powers it comes with. She wants to create chaos.

Biography

The product of an incubus father and a demon mother, Ujin had received mixed reactions upon his birth from his parents. A father who reveled in the fact that his bloodline would be continued through to another incubus, and a mother who was filled with disappointment that she wasn’t going to be bringing a prized demon offspring home. 

It was a courtship without love thus no complaints arose from Ujin’s mother when ten years later his father deigned it necessary to move realms to Kadeu, his motive being wanting to prey on their demise. She let them go but the woman refused to join them on their venture, her interests already being met right where she was and following an incubus child was not worth that sacrifice. For some this may have become a defining moment in their life but the fact that his mother didn’t want him had rolled off Ujin like water on a duck’s back, he actually related to his mother’s selfish motives. 

Black ink rose to the surface on the boy’s wrist within days of arriving in Kadeu. The “J” marked on his wrist didn’t mean much to Ujin when he had first noticed it, he’d already seen the very same ranking on his father’s wrist. From the beginning the rankings hadn’t impacted Ujin’s life like it probably should have, it certainly didn’t seem to do much to his father at all. As Ujin was a high ranker himself without ever going higher or lower he did not face adversary or understand what it could be like to suffer as those low rankers did. Not that he cared to know either, they always seemed so miserable.

No great expectations were placed upon young Ujin’s shoulders, the world was his for the taking. Upon growing up he firmly chose to remain in the Hearts faction which his father had raised him in. There was no better-suited faction for someone like Ujin. Wealth and self-gain were two things that he was a strong believer in.

Swayed by lust, it only made sense that his place of business would be the same. Tasting the product was one of the many perks of running his own strip club, his dancers were elite and did well to satiate the incubus’ appetite for their mana. Low to mid-class fae being the most common of the scantily clad employees, the bar had earned its name the Golden Faerie and created its own little niche clientele. That was not all that the club was known for, Ujin had gained a reputation for savagely punishing the patrons that went too far with his dancers… all while laughing as he does it.

Over time the incubus has gained himself a nasty reputation for chopping the appendages which the patrons used to touch his staff, mostly just fingers and hands but there has been some more gnarly parts in the mix as well. That should have ruined his business however it made exotic dancers want to work for him for protection at the price of satisfying their new boss, and for the public, the danger only added to the allure. 

Ujin only has one rule; don’t fuck with what’s his.

Personality

Lips laced with satirical humour, Ujin’s wandering hands were always in the pursuit of finding a willing warm body to spend a night or two with. Caring about little but money and women, he is a very carefree individual with a destructive nature. 

No matter the rank, faction, or species of an individual, he would be cordial until the stakes were laid out. More often than not if he was crossing paths with someone it was because he either wanted something from them or they wanted something from him. He simply could never say no to a good deal thus high ranks or low ranks, he treated both quite similarly in nature. However once one has done something perceived as wrong towards Ujin, his attitude can turn ugly fast and play some of the nastiest tricks a person can think of. 

His feelings on the factions are practically nonexistent, nothing really matters to him unless he was directly affected by it. Regardless, he supposed that occasionally he felt that the whole ordeal was quite amusing but it was gradually becoming background noise. Ujin is growing impatient because tensions have been rising in the hierarchy so he has been anticipating there will be an uproar between the factions soon.
