The cruellest thing about cfs flareups is even if i'm bone tired, I still won't be able to lay down for a nap. I am trying to give my body what it needs and it's not listening!
experiencing the many wonders of autism such as "every noise is personally attacking me" and "seemingly incapable of reacting to things with any level of emotion" & i must say i am not currently pulling any bad bitches like this
Oblivion has the weirdest aesthetic choices going on. Everything is super bright and saturated, the characters look silly and almost bordering on cartoonish, and the voice acting and delivery tends to be pretty silly. The whole things has such a strong classic fantasy vibe compared to the other tes games, but also there's a bunch of realistic gore and rotting corpses and really dark questlines with gross visuals (for the quality of those visuals). it's such a weird game.
just finished this ink drawing of Dolora, my Dunmer girl from ESO; wish i was better at photographing art on paper. the parts that look white on her outfit are metallic silver ink 😅
i was really faithful to the screenshots for the background/interior she's in, but i redesigned the dress almost completely. idk why but so many of the costumes in ESO that are meant to be just clothes still look like armor??? this was supposed to be the "Necrom Evening Attire" gown, but....
here is a screenshot of Dolora wearing it in-game, and...it feels like it's just overly complex just for the sake of being overly complex, the design doesn't flow, WHY DOES EVERY SINGLE ESO OUTFIT HAVE TO HAVE A LOINCLOTH-LIKE ELEMENT HANGING DOWN IN FRONT, i can't explain why but the gloves are giving cleaning/utility gloves not evening gloves...it's just a super hot mess as "evening/formalwear." maybe it could work as mage armor but it wasn't supposed to BE mage armor and everybody in Tamriel does not wear exclusively armor all the time 😒 plus it bugs me extra bc i sew and i know how clothes go together, so garment designs where i am looking at them and can clearly see that there'd be no actual way to construct it as shown are just...🙄
so i kept the red/blue combination and the mixed patterns and some of the basic elements and tried to draw something that felt more like an elegant formal gown. my design was probably also influenced by the fact that i modeled the pose and composition of the whole drawing after "Madame X" by John Singer Sargent:

Yup! Like many minotaur, they worship Kyne primarily. In their little clan they served as a healer and sort of.. not a shaman, but they were involved in the religious ceremonies and such. I’d like to do more research and write up some more detailed descriptions of minotaur religion! Here’s a quick sketch of Bramul in some of her ceremonial jewelry and paint
