Mech Designed with Plasticity

As you may seen in my previous posts I started working with Plasticity Software. Im very happy with it, cause it lets me design hard surface objects way more effortlessly than Blender ot Zbrush. I'll probably stick strictly to it when it's about hard surface from now on. Here is a mech I made for the sake of practice. Rendered in Keyshot.

Dimension Portable Groove Box

I just added a new software to my arsenal - Plasticity. It's basically for CAD 3d modelling, and very good for industrial design. So this is my first industrial design project. I wanted to create an object/device which looks awesome and modern but it's also grounded in reality. Since I'm also a dj and produce music I decided to take that knowledge and design a Portable Groove Box. Something I would love to own and use.

Concept, design, modelling, rendering and branding - all made by me 💪

When I have time, I'll make a detailed presentation which delves more into the interface of the OS and how the device is operated. I also have ideas to continue the design and the brand with few more devices - delay/reverb box, headphones, portable speakers etc.

JP River Adventure

Gremlins Gizmo

Here is my version of Gizmo. Gizmo has always been one of the cutest movie characters for me. Fuck off baby Yoda :) It’s my first, model with hair/fur simulated in Blender. I actually specifically decided to create this character so I can test the workflow in blender. It was real pain in the ass with my previous Mac, but with my new Mac Studio M1 ultra was a breeze. There are of course more grooming of the hairs which can be done, but that will happen when I start rigging the model.
