Working on this watercolor painting of the "Misty Morning in the Meadow" (56x76cm) was a pure pleasure! π
I used a wonderful photo by a colleague (search for @rotaliator on Instagram) as a reference, but changed a few things.
I'd love to hear your opinion! β₯
Since there's a huge sale in my shop right now, you can get giclee art print of this painting with 20% off (or 30-35% if you sign up to my VIP CLUB). Link is below:
This is the form a watercolor painting can take when you combine my great love for trees and nature with a deep-seated longing for magic! I hope you enjoy this dreamlike purple forest as much as I did painting it. π
"Once Upon in a Dream"
watercolor on A3 paper
made with a mix of my favourite colors from Aquarius and Winsor& Newton.
Both art prints and the original painting are available on Etsy:
I've made this pencil drawing of a lion as a tutorial for my students (if you don't know me that we'll, I've founded an Art School in Poland, where I teach hobbyists and future architecture students how to draw and paint with watercolor π).
I'd love to hear what you think about my "Portrait of a lion" (A3) in the comments! π
I'm really happy to have this painting back at home! π It's one of my favorites. It was exhibited during the watercolor festival in Italy (FabrianoInAquarello 2019) and came back quite recently π
I've finally found some time to make it available for sale in my Etsy shop - 20% off for a limited time:
Some time ago a did a secret commercial project that was such a pleasure to do, it didnβt feel like work at all! π I still canβt show you how this watercolor artwork have turned out or how it was used by the agency, but I thought this work in progress photo really deserve to be seen.
I know I've been awfully quiet lately, but there's a good reason for that - a secret project that involves some pixies, fairies and possibly a dragon in the future. ππ
Right now I'm taking a break from that secret project and guess what's the first thing that's coming from under my hand? More purple trees! π
