He replied that he had a seriously ill wife and he doesn't have enough money to get a doctor to see her. The Queen promised to help him and before she left, she put her foot on a stone, unfastened the gold buckle from her shoe and gave it to the man. When the worker grabbed the hammer to continue chipping the stone, he saw an imprint of a human foot on it. He called the rest of the workers and they all watched in amazement as the foot of the merciful queen was imprinted in the hard stone. Together they hewed the stone and embedded it in the church' wall.”
