Bathrooms and Pillows

There is a SERIOUS LACK of Meena, Johnny and Ash fanfics in the fandom so i’m ready to contribute. Here’s a fanfic of the three of them being chaotic shits

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“GAWD DAMMIT JOHNNY, GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THE BATHROOM!” Ash exclaimed, her fists pounding on the bathroom door

“‘ANG ON! ‘M BLOW DRYIN’ MA ‘AIR”

Meena let out a groan from the couch. It was only 7:00 am on a Saturday, and noise was already ricocheting around the apartment. The three teens had moved in together. The elephant adored the two of her friends to death, so she knew that the two hated living alone after living with others for so long. Even though she knew they would never admit it out loud, they both needed another person in the house. So, the three got a new condo. It was a sweet little space, big enough for all of them. They had been making so many memories together in that condo, staying up and watching countless marathons. Currently, everything was going great!

POUND POUND POUND

“GET OUT DOOFUS”

However, Ash and Johnny had a small habit, and that habit was turning small topics into HUGE AND DUMB fights. It could be about anything, such as where they were going to eat or the best ice cream. And she had to play the mediator in these situations. Yes, she may adore her best friends, but sometimes Meena felt like kicking herself for suggesting they move into the condo together. Especially on mornings like these, where she had only gotten 4 hours of sleep due to college assignments.

Slowly, Meena got up from the comfortable position she established on the couch and shuffled towards Ash.

“What’s going on?” She inquired whilst leaning on the door frame. Ash swiveled to face her, Her hands still curled into fists and slightly red from how much she smashed the door.

“HE HAS BEEN IN THERE FOR AN HOUR… and damn girl, you look like hell-

“Thank you” Meena replied as her mouth twisted into a lazy smile.

“…how much sleep did you get?” For the moment, Ash forgot her bitterness as her face contorted with concern towards her much taller best friend. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Johnny appeared in the doorway. He ran a hand through his hair in a partially suave motion.

“I’m done”, flashing the girl a mocking smile.

“Yeah, after maybe a million years dumbass”, Ash snapped back, slamming the door behind her.

Johnny pointed his arms dramatically towards the closed door, but Meena crossed her arms at the gorilla and tried to muster one of Rosita’s stern ‘mom looks’ towards Johnny. He only stuck out his tongue in response.

It didn’t take long until a ferocious scream erupted within the bathroom.

“YOU RUINED THE GODDAMN BATHROOM”

“I DID NOT!” Johnny replied to no avail, his voice slightly cracking. A fuming Ash went around, pointing out various things, including the humongous pile of hair products left out on the sink and the massive amount of water on the floor.

The elephant watched the battle go down, switching her head back and forth between Ash’s heated rambling and Johnny’s failed attempts at defending himself. ‘The situation would diffuse soon’, she thought and made her way back to collapse on the couch.

“I HOPE YOU CLEANED your HAIR OUT OF THE DRAIN”, Ash huffed out indignantly, turning towards the bathroom and slamming the door again.

“I ‘OpE YOU CleAnED Yo ‘aIR oUtTa thE DrAIn”

The room fell deathly quiet as the bathroom door creaked open once more. Ash stepped out, fists clenched while her eyes kindled with a newfound ferocity.

“...Excuse me?” She demanded in a dangerously low voice.

Meena snapped her head back towards the pair, falling off the couch in her haste. Oh god. Meena grew up in a tightly knit family with many cousins, and she had done several babysitting jobs. She knew what Johnny was doing and shot him a glare as she quickly hissed out.

“Johnny! Don’t go down this path. You have so much to live for!”

Johnny glanced towards Meena, watching beads of sweat roll down her face as her widened eyes practically pleaded with him not to escalate the situation. However, Johnny was not a mammal that would quickly back down. He smirked and turned towards the porcupine, ignoring Meena’s silent protests, and spoke in an exaggerated and shrill tone, “…ExCusE mE.”

Johnny had sealed his demise.

In a matter of seconds, Johnny was being chased around the apartment by a 3ft tall, infuriated porcupine swinging a plunger. Johnny had swerved, ducked and leapt over every piece of furniture in the apartment, pants and giggles racking his body. However, he had no time to stop because Ash remained at his heels. Meena bolted off the couch and chased Ash, the elephant yelling out incoherent phrases to separate the two. She halted when she saw Johnny reach for the plastic ladle.

Soon, the two were engaged in an intense swordfight, circling each other menacingly with facial expressions contorted to intimidate the other. Honestly, it made them look like toddlers fighting over a stuffed toy. Meena knew she couldn’t go in unarmed, so she swiftly slipped away from the scene.

“I WON’T HESITATE TO STAB YOU, YOU GODDAMN FREAKING TOE” Ash screamed as she slammed the plunger into Johnny’s chest and skillfully blocked his ladle with a pot. However, the porcupine was swept off her feet by the gorilla and landed heavily on her back. Johnny expertly kicked her weapons out of reach. His sweet nature was unrecognizable as a villainous grin spread over his features.

“Say goodnight sweet prince!” Johnny panted out, kneeling over her, ready to claim his victory as he grasped her plunger and positioned it above her face. Ash stared up at her attacker with wide eyes, her heart pounding. She closed her eyes and braced for impact. However, the blow never came. Johnny had been knocked off her, with a large white form resting by his head. Ash whipped her head towards her “saviour.”

Meena stood there, a fixed glare and her ears flaring out resting upon her regularly kind face. Next to her, stood a stack of huge pillows. Without warning, she picked up another and began hurling them at the two mammals.

The two of them were bombarded. Bombarded by huge and heavy pillows that could easily knock them out. They didn’t even get a second to breathe between the pillows hitting them straight in the stomach and them choking on their laughter. It was a rare occurrence to see Meena being feral, but when she was, it was golden.

“ME-hic- MEENA PLEASE” Ash wheezed out, trapped under a mountain of Meena’s weapons.

“WE SURRENDA BLOODY ELL” Johnny cried out as tears streamed down his face.

Suddenly, the chaos paused. Silence rung through the house as Meena silently approached the two of them, still laying sprawled upon the ground. She raised her head and took a deep breath in.

“I WON BITCHES” she cried out as she punched her fist into the air. Ash and Johnny started howling with laughter on the floor. Meena laid down and grabbed the two into a tight grip, which they quickly returned.

“We have got to stop getting into these brawls” Ash muffled out from Meena and Johnny’s grip.

Johnny scoffed, “Well maybe if you stopped starting them” he mumbled. Before they could dive back into their antics, Meena quickly hushed the both of them with a tighter embrace.

“Yeah yeah I love you guys too” Meena quickly said, “And…since I won, I guess you two will be cleaning up here.”

With that, the elephant dropped the two and bolted for the door, still in her pajamas, leaving a gaping Ash and Johnny on the floor.

“Wha’ a little shit” Johnny whispered

“She is this way because of us” Ash rebutted back

“I know…so should we chase her down instead of cleaning?”

“Yes.”
