He’s anti-doing anything that will plunge his court into war while him and Feyre are about to die. He didn’t mention anything but the fact that she has a mate. Stay on topic. Rhys has a mate. If you think Rhys interrupting represent how “Sarah feels about the ships” than why don’t yall mention feyre wanting elriel to be together since acomaf. As she’s the one with a pov, not Rhys. She would be more closely aligned to the author desires as the protagonist for 3 BOOKS. People are hypocrites and only bring up what suits their arguments.

Rhys think Az is hurt and lonely and don’t know the inside of his head and the moments between elriel previously. We have Azriel perspective and he wants Elain and fumbling and scratching for other people perspectives won’t help your crackship.. just like Tamlin being engaged didn’t stop Rhys from interrupting the wedding……that stupid, undeveloped mating bond won’t stop Az from being with Elain. Cassian is the only man who could ever love n.esta. Her own father didn’t care. Eris just wants her powers. Not wanting her with cassian isn’t a gotcha moment or bad for him. He’s lovable, loyal, and actually cares for people. He would find a partner in no time. He doesn’t need her. No one wants to be shackled to her. If she left and got with someone “better” it’ll only hurt him because of the bond.

It’s just so much hypocrisy surrounding their relationship. She can talk bad about him and use his tramua and insecurities but it’s only a problem when he lashes out in frustration. She can sleep with whoever she wants (nothing wrong with that) but cassian can’t give Morrigan a gift or call her pretty? They hate feysand for being “codependent” and “always agreeing” but hate cassian for not agreeing with everything n.esta do and defending her when she’s wrongs …… I just don’t get

hi! I was just wondering if you think we’ll see more of Feyre’s powers in the upcoming book. I’m currently on acowar but I got some spoilers for acosf about an upcoming war(???)

if that’s the case, what role do you think feysand is going to play — I know sjm said she has like 2 more novels and 1 novella in mind for the series so how do you think she’ll wrap it up because I need to see more of Feyre’s power 🤨

I’m honestly not sure.

I PERSONALLY think Sarah doesn’t do well with multiple perspective or keeping characters consistent (hofas/acosf) she just likes flashy descriptions. Her lack of showing and not just telling is going to continue to make her books decline with mix reviews. Her love of describing the men bodies and how beautiful they are is definitely a priority over actual development. She would rather write about beautiful and powerful Rhys is. She wants certain scenes and events, so she twist, forget, and change important information to get it. I’m just not sure about Feyres fate. I think the next acotar book is going to be her last chance for me. If it’s not spectacular I won’t care about the series after acowar..

I really loved crescent city but the last book was horrible and needed major editing and was no where near the first book. Acosf was trash for me. I’m just not confident in her abilities at all.

Mind you feyre in acosf was still doing her high Lady roles without a pov. She was in the meetings, went to the court of nightmares, aided in strategy sessions about the mortal queens, helped draft the peace treaties, the autumn soldiers, and was dealing with her older sister…….. all while she was pregnant.

You can’t enjoy and praise the benefits of Feyre getting n.esta out of the apartment while also shaming her for getting her out. You can’t shame her decisions without also addressing the multitude of other things Feyre did to help during acofas. You can’t suggest that Feyre was wrong without realistically suggesting anything else that would’ve worked for n.esta. You can’t shame Feyre for doing something but also saying that she didn’t do anything

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people headcanon Feyre to be a bad mother and needs other women to show her how to raise her son. There’s headcanons that Nesta (who abused Feyre her entire life) will be Nyx’s second mom just because Nesta saved them. I think there was even a fic in which she breastfed Nyx. I get we shouldn’t take these headcanons seriously - some people are just joking. But some of these headcanons are kinda gross and misogynistic. I don’t see nearly any headcanons in which Nyx calls Azriel or Cassian his second dad. It’s just Feyre that’s a bad parent and needs guidance from other women (who aren’t even mothers).

Honestly, those type of things aren’t only an attack on feyre but a way to force n.esta or even g.wyn to be at the center like Sarah described feysand. It’s canon, out of n.esta own mouth (hofas) that Feyre is a perfect mother. Feyre took care of n.esta for years. They know Feyre is a great mother. They also want Feyre’s characteristics and life for their fav characters without admitting it. That’s why they go on and on about Feyre being not suitable for a high lady but having no problem slapping the title on their fav who was saved by her own teen sister for years and show NO leadership skills. They shame Feyre for being a mother but have headcannons about their favs having a good relationship with Nyx.… but hating the main character makes them “different” and “unique” so they’ll continue to snatch little things from her

When will we stop the narrative that people hate Nesta because she didn’t get her family out of debt? Literally no one hates her for not being the breadwinner of the family. Everyone knows that she was under no obligation to provide for her entire family - that’s undeniable. But as a twenty one (which she was at the start of the series) woman she DID have an obligation to provide for herself. Instead, she willingly decided to rely on Feyre - and even that I could forgive and understand. But the fact that she abused Feyre while Feyre provided for her is what makes me dislike her. Feyre sacrificed so much for her and received nothing in return.

I think people take issue with how she continually abuses her youngest sister rather than her not contributing to their family.

They know that no one hates her for not being the sole breadwinner but because every other argument for people disliking her makes sense, they try to make it seem like we’re being unreasonable. People always say that it was the parent responsibility but e.lain and n.esta weren’t two years old and were older than Feyre and if they were making the decision to take from her for years, they should’ve done everything possible to help. Not just her, but their own survival. But n.esta can’t move or do anything unless she’s forced or accidentally put into a situation so I understand why her stans are like that 🤣
