Karys got a new look after 4 years! She’s the matriarch of House Phaedrin and the progenitor of a doomed bloodline, fated never to produce a suitable heir. Over the years she’s had her genetics altered countless times in a desperate attempt to circumvent the curse, and each time a little less of her old self remains. She’s sometimes called the hundred-faced, a reference to not just her ever-changing appearance but also to her often-erratic behavior and tendency to renege on diplomatic arrangements.

Coelestian columns take inspiration from the ancient palaces of the water flight. They often feature abalone, quartz, and other sea-occurring minerals and typically incorporate celestial motifs.

Earthborn columns utilize minerals found in the desert, but often call back to the White Wasteland’s past life as a thriving ocean. They often bear mosaics depicting kelp beds and aquatic creatures.

The Neo-Citadel style is derived primarily from Coelestian architecture with some Earthborn influence. Depleted sacridite has a tendency to crop up in Neo-Citadel buildings, particularly temples dedicated to the Tidelord, sprung from the prophets’ unanswered laments.
