Reading the very note that was placed on his desk. He grinned to himself. Now knowing what to look forward to whenever he gets back home. A small piece of chocolate, up to his lips to indulge on. Jake smirking as he figured to give a quick text back to Ayame. [Text]: "Got the gift, Love <3. Happy Valentines to you too! Heh... Now I'm curious on what this gift is. Can't wait to see~"

Makoto watched as her boyfriend stumbled over his words in an attempt to explain the nerdy behaviour, a gentle giggle leaving her as his face flushed pink. “You’re into Featherman? I never knew that about you!”

“Futaba doesn’t shut up about that show when we hang out. It’s incredibly popular, isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen it myself but the actress that plays pink featherman is rather pretty!” Makoto added. “We should watch it together!”

Jake was still red in the face for his nerdy side to be exposed like that. But part of him was kind of grateful she wasn’t going to tease him about it! At least that what he thinks. “I-I’ll love that!” Jake eyes widen and shined when she made mention of wanting to watch it together with him. 

“I-I’ve always been a fan of them when I was younger. Though.. Parents had other ideas for me for what I should be watching.” Jake rubbing the back of his head. “But still, I just... love them a lot. They actually really cool. Pink Featherman is actually pretty popular!”

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. Rune stepped out and waved at him to follow her. She reached her door and opened it. Her apartment was a little messy. Clothes were everywhere. As were cigarettes and bottles. 

“So what’s going through your mind? What do you think of this?” She entered the apartment and went straight for the fridge. And she pulled out two drinks. “You don’t seem to be on edge. I had plenty of opportunities to try and hurt you. Why do you play along? Do you think you’ll get anything out of it?” Rune sat down on the couch and gestured for him to join her. 

Following her into her apartment. It was rather messy to a certain degree. As she carried out the couple of drinks and gesturing him to come along to the couch, Jake shrugged as he went along with it. “What’s going through my mind right now? I’ve been invited over by the woman who saved my ass from the cops not to long ago. Figured to go along with it.” Jake replied in a straightforward manner. 

“Crazy as it might sounds for night city standards, I have a small code I try to follow. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” Jake shrugged as he gazed over to Rune. “So... here I am, I figured you’re willing to be an accomplice to help a person run away from the cops. So I’m all ears if you have something in mind.”

Makoto stood in complete silence for a few moments, watching her boyfriend as he mimicked the poses of the Featherman on his phone. She'd stopped by to collect the paperwork from the basketball team for the semester when she noticed Jake off in the corner of the Gymnasium.

She slowly approached and reached out to tap him on the shoulder. "Jake? What on earth are you doing?"

“Stop vile villain! For you’re about to face the might--” Jake was in the moment! That nerd side getting the best of him as he was about to strike out another dynamic pose... That was until he felt a tap on a shoulder. Jake let out a surprised yelped as he jumped and turned around immediately. 

“WOAH! Oh my god--” Then the realization began to sink in that it was none other than his girlfriend Makoto... Who just witnessed Jake posing as if he was a featherman ranger.  

His face beet red, embarrassment clear on his face as his mouth was agape for a moment. “Makoto... I... Uh.... Just... um...”
