mao’s notes: First of all, I hope you're okay!! I remember getting into a biking accident once. My injuries wasn't severe but it still scared me a bit, I hope you're doing well! also [unedited/not beta'd]

You had just come back to the Octavinelle dorm after a bad accident. Luckily it was after hours and there were no customers around but there was the OctoTrio. Jade's eyes widened when he saw the injuries scattered across your fragile skin. You were met with questions.

"What happened?" "Are you okay?"

You didn't answer, but the three knew not the push further.

Jade immediately helps you sit down. Injuries like these just simply can't be fixed up with magic. Floyd brings him a first aid kit and Jade immediately got straight to work on tending to your wounds. He rolls up his lavender sleeves to his elbows and takes off his gloves.

First, he cleaned up the wounded areas with a cleaning cloth, it stung a bit just from friction. Then he spritzed the area with the antiseptic spray, now that stung a lot. You flinched your legs and arms when he sprayed the antiseptic over your wounds.

"Hold still. This will be over in no time." Jade says as he places a gauze on your knee, followed by some medical tape to keep the gauze in place. By now Floyd was probably off with Azul counting their inventory and totals for the day.

For minor injuries he places small bandaids over them, followed by small kisses over the wounds to take your mind off the accident. When he was finished patching up your wounds, he pushes your bangs aside and gives you a forehead kiss before offering his ungloved hand to you. He helps you get up and walk a bit to see if any of the bandages constrict your walking. Once he's sure you can walk a few steps without bandages falling out of place, he offers to take you back to the Ramshackle dorm, where Grim was probably waiting for you.

You almost shook your head because of the far walk but you felt him scoop you up with his arms.

"I'm not going to let you walk back on your two feet." He smiled. "This is what I meant." A small chuckle escapes his lips. "Now, let's get you back to your dorm. Do not worry about food, I shall bring some Tofu Hamburger Steak over later for you to eat."

You were actually working for another minor cartel in debt to Octavinelle when Jade and Floyd found you. Azul always sends out his two best men to do the dirty work.

It was tricky at first, Floyd wanted to finish you off but Jade suggested that you would be of great use to the cartel or they could get a contract off you. So the two took you back to their boss, Azul.

Azul decided, your life in exchange for your labor towards the cartel. Octavinelle was known to be the most successful boss out there compared to the other six major crime families. There was just a lot more coming into Octavinelle and the other bosses just couldn't quite put their fingers onto it. It was the contracts that kept you in a tight bind with Octavinelle, no other big cartel dared to mess with them unless they KNEW what they were getting into.

You signed your life away to Octavinelle to be spared. You take on a new name, and new look. One must look professional but be deadly in Octavinelle.

You were always sent out on jobs (only at night!!! you don't want to spill blood in broad daylight) with Floyd and Jade. From afar you held your sniper rifle, scoped at the indebted while Floyd threatened the payment out of them. Rarely do you have to pull the trigger, most of the time they are just warning shots to the indebted.

You hated being indebted to Octavinelle at first, you despised being there but over time you found yourself growing onto the cartel. The environment behind closed doors, the bickering between Floyd and his boss, Azul over what to do. You always weighed your opinions in to help them decide. Jade chuckling away at the small arguments you three would get into sometimes.

With your skills, you have the option to turn away and go to another cartel any time you want. But there's just this warm feeling within you that's keeping you there. Perhaps... You're developing feelings for one, or two, or all three of them...

When the door of a flower shop opens, there’s always that tiny ring sound. That had been one of the first thoughts Pandora had when coming up with ideas for her own establishment.

It was this sort of movie trope. She knew it would be a cute touch if she made it real, and so she did. It had been a good idea, even today it’s something that makes her smile, opening up early in the morning while her head’s still feeling blurry and slow, hearing the quiet chime greeting her before anyone else does — She could say it’s the flowers’ way of saying hello, smiling at the one caring for them so sweetly.

When the morning is gray and sluggish like the current one, it becomes even more special, really. Energetic as she was, Pandora was only human, and therefore not immune to those muggy mornings where the sky was dark even after sunrise, air too cold and humid to breathe in comfortably.

It’s the preface of storming, she knows as she walks up to the shop, tucking hair that swayed with the wind behind her ear. The door swung open, the cute chime tells her good morning, colorful flowers smiling along, and she smiles back, rubbing sleepiness off her eyes as she sets her bags behind the counter, takes the watering can to fill it and get to work.

Your Mafia Au with Lis looks amazing from the drawings you’ve been doing. May I ask what everyone’s role is in the AU?

Oh of course! I’m glad you think its amazing so far. It’s just getting started so far (and a few scenes developed here and there) I don’t have everything planned out at the moment but the dorm leads are dons to their families (their dorms).

Every don needs a business to have as a disguise to do their deals.

Vil for example in this au, runs a dress/suit palor/bar. You get fitted for dresses and suits and why not have a drink as well. Very high classed place (decorations ft. My oc Pandora, a florist) but also home to most Pomefiore members.

I was thinking, Heartslabyul is like a bakery and Octavinelle is more so a Yakuza? The whole AU is in rough planning at the moment.

Just me rambling- but I found out that Rook is voice acted by Yojiro Itokawa, who also plays musical version of Urashima Kotetsu from Touken Ranbu!

Recently they did a 5 year anniversary show near new years and the song he sang with a few other favs was called Scarlet Lips (WHICH IS MY FAVORITE BTW?? I used this song as song insp for one of my yumeships but anyways—) His singing voice is lovely and it got me thinking.. Rook singing yeah? POMEFIORE SINGING THIS SONG YEAH? OR MAYBE JUST… VDC TEAM SINGING THIS SONG… cries—the Song if anyone wants to listen along (he replaces Shogo Sakamoto (Horikawa) in the video)

That reminds me of the storm we had the other night where I live, and the thunder and lightning sounded and felt so close, that was probably the first time I felt afraid of a storm! Song insp for this request [HERE], these are usually songs I listen to to get into the vibe of writing the said piece and or think that fits the theme.

You were walking down the school hallways with Vil when you glanced outside the window and noticed the dark grey lumpy clouds that blanketed the sky. It looks like it's about to storm. You never expected it to storm today. The weather did a whole 180 on you when you thought it was going to remain clear and sunny for the rest of the day. Out of nowhere, it becomes hard to swallow and everything seems rushed and jittery. You were getting anxious to the point your palms were getting clammy and your heart felt like it was about to burst out from your chest. You haven't told Vil yet... You haven't told him you were uneasy around storms but specifically the loud booming of thunder. Then, there it was, the loud crash of lightning followed by delayed thunder within the distance. You couldn't help but jolt right into Vil, hiding your face away from the world.

"Hey now-" Vil began. You could feel his slender body shift ever so slightly, struggling to do so at the same time to look at you. He noticed that your face was tucked away in between his shoulder blades. "Are you alright?" You hear the slight worry in his voice.

Unable to speak a word, you shook your head. Even though you couldn't see him you could tell he was raising his brow slightly at you, wondering what on Great Seven was wrong with you. It wasn't hard to figure out that you were dealing with fear and he connected the two. "Are you afraid of storms, potato?" He asked. Unsure whether to answer for the sake of your pride, you hesitantly nod your head. "Ah~ I see."

He wasn't going to judge you for it. He was just confused by the sudden jolt right into him and why you didn't feel comfortable in telling him before. But he understood that it was not his matter to pry into your fears. You have to open up to him with that after all and he was willing to wait for you to bloom in order to learn much more about you.

You could feel him lean back a bit to adjust himself to face you. His hand was on the back of your head, at first it sat there unsure what to do. Then, it began stroking the back of your head in a vertical motion. He welcomed you back into hiding your face away from him, this time where he could at least see most of you. The strokes of his hand on the back of your head in a combination with the waft of the perfume on his body created comfort to ease your nerves. Then it struck Vil, he knew how to calm you down.

"Let's go back to Pomefiore dorms." He began. "Would you like to watch a few movies I've starred in with me?" Without hesitation, you nodded your head, and with a small happy sigh you never thought would escape his lips, you knew it was smiling. "Let's go then, we have a lot to watch this evening."

Anything to soothe and distract you from this incoming storm. Anything to keep it off your mind...

You two watch movies back in his room, snuggled up against each other while watching. Who knows, he might do some skincare both on him and you to get you distracted more and healthy snacks might be involved as well. He made sure to keep a conversation while you two are watching the movies he starred in. Of course not too much though to distract you from watching the movies. Vil tells you about each role he played and other actors that played with him for the movie and a small little summary without spoiling anything before the movie starts. Your favorite movie with Vil in it would be one where he played the hero and Neige played the villain. The combination of movies, conversations, skincare, snacking, and finally resting with Vil definitely soothed your nerves in the end. You easily forgot that there was even a bad storm the next day because you had such a wonderful time being distracted by Vil!
